A quick study of Forbes and billboard magazines articles on these two show they only do positive publicity for them.
I wouldn't consider tidal for free because everyone says their user experience is not good and it's not a smooth app at all. And I've read this from the very few people who have tidal because they're super audiophiles. They said it's a pain to work with!

J got billboard to change the way they count sales so yes they are in his back pocket for sure along with Forbes. It appears the Carter's whole existence is nothing but a big fat lie kind of like a traveling sideshow

So if u opt for unlimited and create a tidal account, a dollar or 2 of your bill will go towards tidal. They’d rather take a few pennies to keep them afloat rather than none at all. Sprint is regretting this merger and trying to keep the company afloat. People will still neglect to sign up. Haha tidal flop
