Get ready for a new Bey. Her latest PR stunts are pointing to a Bey that will be tackling her past transgressions in the entertainment industry. I also suspect she sees the writing on the wall in terms of her power dwindling with her record company, the music industry and especially this new generation of youngsters that don't seem to be feeling the Carters. The statement from Bey was, "I'm looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future". That is a loaded statement from a diva that always shouts "I'm better than you, bow down, I woke up like this", brags about money and has done everything in her power to be the last diva standing which included shading legends of black music, suppressing the mainstream exposure of fellow black singers, strong arming awards' shows for awards and extra performance time, falsifying music streams, stealing and unfortunately the list just goes on and on... My suspicions were correct. Get ready to see lots of pics of Bey with people she hasn't been seen with for years to attempt to learn from her past. I'm gearing up for a post with her and LaTavia, Ne-Yo and especially Keri Hilson and etc. She has already started this atonement slightly by going to Janet Jackson's concert after saying her father didn't use her like Joe did to get them out of a bad situation. She's giving college scholarships after singing you don't need to go to school or rap singing degrading lyrics. She's also dedicating concerts to legends she shaded like Aretha. Bey also stated that she's, "surrendering to the future". I hope that means she will not do anything to stop the success/awards of other singers and stealing from emerging artists. Bey can't endure another lawsuit scandal involving her stealing lyrics, dances and etc. It's so refreshing to see the mainstream begin again to show more than two black female singers showing off their talents to the world. Only time will tell if Bey continues to travel on this atonement road. I welcome it because the media ain't playing. The media is digging up dirt and righting wrongs on powerful celebrities. Just read articles on Les Moonves resigning after years of sexual harassment and doing everything in his power to derail Janet Jackson's career. P.S. Bey confirmed in her birthday statement that she renewed her vows with Jay and in the statement to her fans she said she doesn't want the tour to end. So I can assume Bey has surrendered to be Jay's touring side chick and partner in his questionable business deals for another decade. She gonna need more than atonement to play house with Jay but Jay did say in an interview about his cheating that in order for his marriage to work there had to be therapy and more truth. Nope not falling for it. Too little too late and quite frankly this is just apart of her usual saint like martyr persona. Shes probably just realizing how deep she really is in and tryna soften her blow thats inevitable to come. No sympathy for me. I used to think the constant touring was for the money issues but after someone wrote that statement for her (doesn't want tour to stop) I think she has been touring to stay on stage and in the spotlight because that is all she knows.
And we all know she doesn't have the staying power the legends do so she must be scared as f... to become ordinary but that is what will happen regardless of wealth or lack there of, at the end of the day someone saying "Beyonce? Who is that?" is just around the corner
