I was watching 60 minutes while talking on the phone. Just happened that Bey opened the Grammy's with her DIL song. They had to "silent" out some of her lyrics. Typical chair dancing, gyration, legs wide open, talking about riding Jay's "surf board", nearly naked. Same stuff we have been seeing from her since the late 90's. (sigh)
Poor girl who claims to have grown up in the church. Nobody taught her about defiling the marriage bed? She gon' learn. Anyway.....
What's for dinner? I had left over pizza. |

Even though I'm far from a Bey fan, I oftentimes like her live performances. But this performance was very weak and bland. But that's the house she's built. Anytime she does a performance where it's simple and she's not dancing all over the place like a Tina Turner wannabe, she underwhelms. And it's so obvious. That's what she gets. Most people were not impressed with her and Jay's Grammy performance. (And she needs to retire that wet blonde wig. It looks awful.)
I had roast chicken and stuffing for dinner. It was delicious.

I always had this image back in the mid 2000's of Bey today. At the height of her fame doing something new and innovative. I had no idea that she would have gotten worse. She is stuck. That's what breaks are for. They allow you to re-image, re-brand, re-everything. But hey, the audience was enjoying. Even other celebrities were in awe. Did you see Taylor Swift, lol.
Funny thing is that none of these celebrities who clap like they just witness the second coming when she performs, never attend HER events (shrug)
Roast chicken and stuffing sounds very delicious.

I refuse to watch Beyzlebub or her husband Bullwinkle, so I don't know whether or not the Grammy performance was lackluster. Tonight's dinner was pasta in light cream sauce with sausage, tomatoes, spinach, and a little bacon.

I remember back in 2006 during her Check Up On Me single. I was thinking how I was growing tired of her because the radio station in NC kept playing her AND Jay Z. Who knew I would STILL be saying the same thing in 2014! This defies all logic.
Shana and Lady, I got one thing to say. If you have any leftovers, they will be slammin' for tomorrows lunch. Somebody should start a food and drink thread in the general section. I could sure drink a lemon martini right about now.

That was one of the most BORING performances ever. You could tell she wanted to do more. I could tell by looking at her face she wasn't happy about her performance. But of course jay wanted it that way. Bey messed up by trying to appeal to the young crowd. Allowing jay to bring up the Tina turner incident in that song, when there were musicians, record producers etc who have worked with tina, respect her and we're probably around when the abuse occurred. WRONG MOVE. What I thought was hilarious was that he snubbed her in the end. She wanted to give him a kiss and he turned his head lol. When is this bird gonna get it, he respects u for having blu, he is in love with the baby, but NOT you. And of course, mrs. I don't have a drink unless I'm on vacation (Google that)had a glass of alcohol in her hands during the show smh.

the performance was cute. not great not good not bad but cute . i did love when they were together still didnt make the performance any better tho. she couldve done way better she can do way better than this. wasnt the best moment and i know she wasnt feeling it either i saw the pics of her backstage her face said it all. its a forgettable performance. the smart and sane beyhives even wanted more i was kinda expecting more. if u missed it u didnt miss much. it was 4rd best performance tbh. her body was great though. her hair looked ratchet as hell after the performance she couldve gotten a nice new wig. she did have one of the best dresses and did look nice
they both had cute little couple moments

I didn't watch it by I imagined the day before and Beyonce has me looking like a psychic. I knew she would wear black. I knew she would have inapropriate parts of her body out. I thought her breasts would be all out (Actually thought she might rock some type of nipple cover a la riri) but turns out she chose to air her aging butt cheeks for the world to see. I new she would be writhing all over the place like a cut snake. Of all the "songs" to sing. I doubt the grammy performance even helped that flop album. She must be feeling some sort of way right about now. Debasing herself for the world tosee and still getting no reward.

I'm pretty sure she knew the performance was horrible. Hopefully she takes heed to the reviews. After 30 there is no way in hell you should be on live tv cursing with your booty cheeks hanging out. It's not even just her though. The fact that Jay let his wife put herself out there to be called all kinds of trashy whores says volumes about his character.

I was busy last night watching Atlanta housewives. Had a pork chop, mac & cheese and corn for dinner  ....Just watched the Grammy performances today and of coarse Beyonce started her performance like she was Rihanna in the pour it up video. The onesies are getting smaller ya'll! Meanwhile Jay has a tux on??? She's starting to wear the pressure, normally she makes sure her lips are in sync when she's lip syncing. The choreography at the end was more interactive (he wasn't pretending that she wasn't there like in the video, although after he was done with his rap he turned his back to her and audience). Awww Jay looked a little old-try-to-be-young with his groove. Belladonna, that hair she was rocking looked just like the pic you posted!!!  |
