"Genius That Left the Hood" is actually an unauthorized biography, so there might be limited glorifying and over-hype in it (one can only hope). Either way, I'm not watching it. Hopefully, someone on the DR boards will watch and give us the tea  |

Hmmm. Just watched this snippet of "A Genius Leaves the Hood."- . Yeah, there's minimal ass-kissing here. It's actually kind of interesting. Maybe I WILL watch.

(Oh, and the comments there are so ignorant. Apparently the "old ass black men" in the documentary are "hatin'" on Jay Z's success. Hahaha! Since when is speaking the truth automatic grounds for "hating?" Ugh!)
