Celebs love sending out positive tweets right before the ship goes down. The man is pleading for subscribers on Twitter. This couldn't be happening to a better person.

Please J, stop whining, this is embrassing. I don't remember any other business when starting up whining so much. Shut up and work on making the business better. All this talk and you still have a Trojan horse, full of just promises. That YT video was funny and I also checked out others on YT. Grow a pair of balls Jay Z and stop being so thinned skin. Remember your a business, man.

Over 770,000 subs, 500,000 of which were already there before he signed on. Why is he trying to make it seem like 770,000 people subbed since the launch last month? So deceitful. Not to mention the 200k that did sign up are probably still on their 30-day free trials and that number will probably dwindle once the trial is over.
We all know Tidal isn't "just fine" or he wouldn't be tweeting the most he's ever tweeted trying to convince us that it is. He is just making it worse and making the company look like more of a joke to the public than it was before. Poor little camel and his bruised ego.

He brought derision on himself with that poor excuse for a press conference and all the other fvckery that pumped up enTIDALed to be some sort of major revolution that it ISN'T. Thes fools were acting like this mess is the Rapture when it's just a mediocre music service. #tidalforall, my left foot. This camel is selling snake oil and he's mad that too many people see it for what it is.
I'm not opposed to artists making more money off of their work and protecting the rights to their catalogs by deciding when and how their music is shared. I'm opposed to misrepresenting yourself and "your" business as something that it's not. I'm opposed to hiding the 'fine print' from people so that they don't realize that there are added requirements and conditions the support your supposedly superior service (people who aren't using exceptional audio equipment aren't going to get that super hi-fi/whatever sound). I'm opposed to someone who has a long-ass history or scheming on folks and being underhanded getting on twitter to whine about supposed acts of sabotage from a competitor. How many people have YOU sabotaged and snookered, Bullwinkle? Do you need to be reminded about Jaz-O, Amil, Dipset, Dame Dash, Beanie Siegel, etc.?

He expects us to believe they are cutting out the middleman when the reality is they are the middlemen, lol. And don't get me started on his smear campaign allegations. If true, it's karma after all the stuff he and his wife have pulled to stifle the careers of other artists. It's taken years but all their dirt is finally being kicked back in their faces.

He has over 3 million followers on twitter,he follows no one back. He hasn't interacted with them since last year, where he had some type of open Q & A session, which was just sickening, he was responding like he was larger than life, just vomitting arrogance, when he would respond to someone, they would react like they had just saw Jesus. So now, all a sudden, he's all humble, spewing that #tidalforall B.S. He's tweeting for his life. I don't take joy in anyone's fails, but this one was inevitable. His wife is keeping quiet, but hers is comming also, it will be just as public.

Not being familiar with gigabits and all that techie stuff but some people were explaining how just using his service could get you over your allowed usage and cost more bucks in the long run. Question: I thought Rihanna was exclusive to Tidal Wave now? So why is her new song America on YT? Also, if Duncy is signed to Sony how can she be on tidalfornone? The truth about Tidal is in all the above comments. He really thinks we are stupid and he is the actual Hova.

The comments in the Daily mail are killing me-lol
Denee j, Anyplace, United States, about 3 hours ago Hey Jay... I got 99 problems but paying for your cr ap Tidal streaming service for music I can hear for free isn't one...
Even Kanye is giving it the side eye- Co-founder Kanye West changed his Twitter avatar away from a logo for the service and deleted all mention of it from his account earlier this week.
He later reaffirmed his support for the service in a tweet saying 'The love of music is louder than words'.
From momma Kris lips to Kanye's Twitter acct.

I just read a couple articles and it all makes sense now. www.businessinsider.com/jay-z-twitter-smear-campaign-music-streaming-service-tidal-apple-spotify-2015-4Any artist signing on to Tidal won't be promoted by other streaming services. Its like they are saying to the artists-you want to be exclusive than stay exclusive. Market and promote yourself from now on. Huge fail for the artist. Also Sony won't allow streaming from their artists so there goes Jays wife off that line up on the stage. Sony wants 35 million upfront and 20 million a year there after to do so. Jay can't afford to sit at the big mans table Jay is going up against Apple who are also set to launch a streaming service supposedly this June. Jay's android app launched no problem but the Apple iOS update for his app hasn't happened yet. There is no way he can compete with Apple. Apple hired Zane Lowe from the UK back in February and his former employer along with Apple were pretty tight lipped about what he would be doing at Apple. And now we know. uk.businessinsider.com/what-zane-lowe-is-doing-at-apple-2015-2Apple hires Zane in February and Jay launches Tidal in March and now he is slowly figuring out he got beat at his own game.

That mofo is thursty (with a U). I wonder if he's going to bring Amil, Beanie Sigel and Foxy on stage to help him out. You guys know it will be on Youtube 10 minutes after the curtains go down and I'm here for all of it. I'll need to pick up some popcorn and a bottle wine from the store today because this is going to be good.

This may be a dumb question but why is Zooman's cousin going to Nigeria for NEW talent? Has America depleted all its good singers, no new R&B talent left? WTF? I was insulted with that stupid statement, he is playing the people. This man is up to his own neck in camel shit
I'm sure old camel-smell put in some of his own money in Tidy Bowl but the entire $56 million? No way! He's using investors money for must of it. So he has a lot less to lose, their problem, next time they need to do some research before they start counting your silver.
If some of the people become exclusive to Tidy Bowel their music exposed will be decreased, not a good idea. God help the indie artist that sign with Mr & Mrs Camel-Bowl

Interesting comment that I found on YT, not sure how accurate it is? If even 50% is true can u imagine J putting in that much time to see HIS new company runs well. Lmfao. He would have to hire someone with brains and that will cost $$. Not to mention J can't handel people smarter than him in close proximity - unless of course they are handing him money.
" Tidal is a total different element than what Jay Z is accustomed too, when it comes to business. Clubs, Sports, Music is what Jay Z is familiar with, Tidal isn't a music play it's a tech play. I'm an engineer and have been working in Technology for over 12 years, the cost of maintaining a tech company is 10x the overhead of about any business you can think of. The fact that the average Technology employee salary is six figures, creates problems from the jump. They have to keep a staff of software developers, software engineers, network engineers, system engineers, and the list go on...those positions cost to keep. On top of that he has to have somewhere to host the service, a data center, or pay a data center to host it for him. That cost millions per year. It's not like uyou can through Tidal on one single go daddy webserver and your good to go. There are 1000s of servers that support a streaming service, and you have to have the personnel resources (high paid engineers) to maintain it. And if any engineer is smart when they see a sinking ship they jump and go to Spotify, or Pandora were the job is more stable. They have already talked about them getting rid of the CEO, and other employees, so a lot of the employees that are left will jump ship because they aren't sure what will happen to the company. I have seen numerous companies in my career that have raised 250 million dollars on a billion dollar valuation one year and are flat on 0 the next year in technology. The money you can run through on a technology company is like no other company out there. Just do some research in the Silicon Valley tech area, and you will see what I'm talking about. When, your competition can crush you with advertising and a cheaper and better product there isn't anything you can do about it...Tidal is what a mom and pops store is to Wal-Mart (Spotify) and Target(Pandora)...unless they make drastic changes then I give this company 24 months and it will fold. They have to offer something that isn't the same as the other two, like add movie streaming and music streaming for 19.99 that would make a big difference. Because there isn't a company that offer both"

Several thoughts: Would you want a company headed by J to know your credit card number? For me it would be "Hell No"
Rereading the comment written by the YouTuber I started to think about the plan. Could this just be ploy to get (the supposed) money on first opening Tidal? Jay can just take the initial $$$$ windfall, then call it quits and say the company didn't work? I would not put anything passed him. Suing him takes years and years. And his other Tidy Bowl members will not do shit. A win, win for camel shit and the investors get stuck with the bill. Very similar to his 40/40 club dealings.

This was a horrible move... Period! I was watching a video on YouTube the other day about Tidal and the backlash. If this fails it could have a negative effect on the artists involved. Based on what I saw, other streaming services like Spotify do get their cut of the money up front and then they send it to the record labels, who takes their cut and gives the remains to the artist. Which isn't surprising...
With Tidal they're saying that the $9.99 subscription will pay the artist the same thing as any other streaming service, but the $25.99 subscription will pay the artist double what they would normally make. It almost sounds like a good plan, but considering how each of the artists have made it known that they have ass loads of money and that we wish we were on their level, why should we care enough to fund this buffoonery? It seems he's trying to guilt trip people into getting this premium package. "If you love Beyonce, you will pay more." And these people, mainly the hive, are falling for it! I saw this other video of this guy who always talks about how he is struggling and how he only has money for noodles and microwavable macaroni... Yet he scrapped up enough money to support Tidal because its an alleged "Black Owned Business". That's pathetic!
Not only that, I've read about how as soon as Rihanna started releasing " exclusive " content for Tidal, all of a sudden her music catalog on other streaming websites began having troubles, such as not being able to search for her or her music not streaming properly. They had the right concept, but everything else was wrong. Now if this fails they may have to pay a pretty penny to get back in good standings with other streaming services. Or maybe Jay will sign them all to ROC Nation...?
