I'm sick of the ratty wigs and that blue sequin suit.I think the suit is supposed to be to her, what MJ's silver glove and white socks/black loafers combo was to him. NOT WORKING. Damn we see right through you, everything you do is so contrived and transparent! B*tch, you look like you just rolled outta bed!! Thats not cute! I'm tellin yall this girl is losing her marbles!!

So what if she chopped her wig and didn't want a lot of styling done to it for the show?
She could've pulled her hair into a top-knot or a grecian braid. Would you have called her contrived for combing/styling her hair as you're doing now?
Don't mean to attack you personally, but some stuff concerning celebs is truly much ado about nothing, that is, until "fans" make it about something.

Yep, because that appears completely normal and reasonable to do before performing in front of thousands of people. Thats definitely not the time to look your best....especially when you've always been known (in the past) to have your looks on point.

You know..I never thought about that. I highly doubt it though. MJ had the whole Glove, sparky socks, loafers, and hate combo at the beginning of his solo career when he was about 24-25. That was his TRADEMARK. Along with 1,001 other things. Bey is about 36 now. It's too late for her. Now that I think about it....Beyonce doesn't have a trademark. Like, maybe blonde lacefronts are one...but she really doesn't have one. But damn, that wig looks horrible. If that anyone else, people would be making meme's out of it and clowning her.

Right E, I don't think anyone will see it as that either.. I can just tell she's *trying* for it. Remember, this girl thirsts for icon status

But knowing her she probably thinks that she is an Icon/Legend. I mean, people already call her a living legend or an Icon. People use those terms so loosely nowadays so I'm pretty sure she believes in the hype now she's just trying to fill it up and prove that she is one. Oh yeah, that Blue Sequin isn't her idea anyways. I actually seen a picture of the Late, Beautiful Ms. Selena Quintanilla in one. I can't find it though. But it's out there.

Yep, they dont realize that nowadays, there really arent any more icons being made.
Icons are made during times of revolution - NEW things. Nothing being done now is new. Even truly good artists, are not attaining icon status because of this, and thats just how it is. Thankfully, those people arent worried about it, because their lives are full of other things other than their careers as celebrities.
People NOW mistaken extreme exposure and ubiquity for icon status, and thats just not true.
But thats why, no matter what Bey does, no matter how much we see her....do you ever notice that hardly anything she ever does is truly memorable?

You’re more right than you think; it is a lot of much ado about nothing. That’s why I don’t understand why it’s so serious for you. What do you think we should discuss?

I've thought this a million times before but never really spoke about it. Icons/Legends are not being made. People think Justin Bieber, Rih, Bey etc whoever is all out there are Icons. When they aren't. You said just right, Icons are made during times of revolution...NEW things. Nothing being done now is new!!!!!! I wish I could give you a big hug because you are so right!!! I've also noticed the Stans of these people really want their fave to be on the status of a icon/legend so badly it's ridiculous. "People NOW mistaken extreme exposure and ubiquity for icon status" Yasssssssssss! I've also noticed with this generation is that they brag about "sales" a lot. And when I look at these peoples sales, it really doesn't match what they're talking about. Now Rih, Gaga, Adele I think they have some nice sales. I think sales are important when you're talking about legends etc MJ, Beatles, Madonna etc etc. People treat music as if it’s a competition. Music is for the soul. I honestly don’t care how much you sell or how “relevant” you are, if you have good music, then we’re cool. People treat sells and relevancy as if that’s all that matters. If someone isn't big or fell off "they're irrelevant and need to stop". There's actually some great artist out there that are underrated but because they aren't the second coming of jesus they don't get the recongnition they deserve. And for those people it's not even about the Fame they actually create Art.

And for those people it's not even about the Fame they actually create Art.The thing about sales, this generation need to shut up for sure, as the whole format has been manipulated beyond understanding. To chart you now calculate radio play as well, and albums are counted as "sold" even if they're still sitting on shelves, because they are termed as "shipped". And Labels have a monopoly over that "radio play" element, making it near impossible for outsiders to get anywhere in the industry. Resulting in what we have now. Mediocre artists that are, for the most part, without merit, and not a true representation of the musical talent out there. But, if we're talking "legends" like Michael... I agree, their sales deserve, as far as I'm concerned, even more respect than the Grammys awarded to them, especially as those numbers were gained fairly, cannot be matched today, and the music was decent.

It's not the hair that irks it's the blue jumpsuit. It's played out. Unless you mean to tell me Beyonce can't afford to refresh her tour wardrobe? And yes we are nitpicking. but it's still irksome how this woman does not have a clue at all of 42 years old.

So true, in this day and age, there's no struggle, we've all given up to the way things are. Thing's aren't perfect but people are too busy chasing wealth and fame to take a stand. If someone wanted to be an icon right now they would have to go against the grain. Beyonce could never do something like this. Maybe Janelle Monae. But not as long as she is with Piddly-Diddly.

Do you mean like the music is weak because of there being no struggle? Just making sure you're not making excuses for some of these talentless 'wannabes' Lol. You'd think if a person is talented at music they could express themselves, nomatter.

Me and my mother always joke about this. But seriously though lol. Biggie got shot, Mase turned Christian, Faith left, Day 26 is no where to be heard of, Danity Kane broke up, even Dawn was solo for awhile...where is she? Janelle Monae betta ruuuuuunnnnn *in my Jenny from Forest Gump voice* Damn, and if I'm not mistaken...isn't Cassie signed to him? Where she at? Lol I don't trust Diddy.

The music is just crappy because it like junk food, not meant to last, good for a couple of months then don't listen to it anymore. No one is even trying to make classics anymore.
