Now people are realizing that Trump maybe unhinged, absolutely no morals, for a president there may be as little as a 6 minute window to make a retaliation descision before a strike hits us back collectively, other presidents hv shown restraint, but not this child. How can we convince trump that this can't happen without a declaration of war, and if so, on what grounds. We hv elected a kid that wants to fight! He's a child with the weapons in his hand playing real life mortal combat! Donald Trump can destroy everything in minutes, this is dangerous! Please let's focus on politics for this time..for once, the hell with celebrity entertainmemt this time. For our peace at stake. Sorry Missy, I agree with Guest and MissGooch. MissGooch I'm so glad you mentioned those social programs, don't forget about the prison system too. Hillary made a lot of money there.
Unlike sites like Dlisted I like RWS because it's mindless entertainment without left wing propaganda. When I want to read somewhat unbiased news, I visit sites like Naked Capitalism.
The truth should be apparent that Trump is not the problem, he is the distraction. The protests are a distraction. The fear mongering put forth by mainstream media is a money grab and a distraction. Anyone notice how news stories and videos of police shootings have all but disappeared. They wanted to incite us but we didn't react. Now they are trying to drag us into this fight against Trump and the Repubs. They want us on the front lines to fight their battles but every time we do that, we lose. It's about time we smarten up and stop being the pitbulls of the democratic party. Let them fight their own battles for once.

Just wanna apologize for the rant above. Politics and religion are touchy subjects, and therefore should've been left off of DR. I was just a bit excited that night, overwhelmed, and emotional, and just needed to vent. When I get on my laptop, I will delete my post. Again I sincerely apologize to you all. No problem missy you were never rude, just concerned. With all of the nonsense and distractions in the news it's understandable. I dont agree with you and implore you to check both sides, for a good life. With all the problems we have the MSM and ALL those over payed Washington fools spent years on LGBT and transgender rights!! I'm all for people to live as they want but they are a very small % the population. 1.7% are gay or lesbian and 0.3% are transgender. Washington and the media act as if they are 50%. It's "we the people" not just sub divisions.

My anxiety eased once I stopped reading WP and started reading news from more underground sites. The guy they placed in charge is completely incompetent but I don't see him as an evil mastermind out to quell women's rights and send us back to Jim Crow days. I have been independent since I was old enough to register which sucks because we aren't allowed to vote in primaries. I'm thinking about switching but can't stand any of our 4 political parties. Something has to change and the ONE good thing about that guy being President is most Americans now see the semblance of democracy we thought we had been living under does not exist.
