I think Rihanna is stuck with Roc Nation which will be trouble down the road. I curious what happens to her label under Roc/LiveNation since LiveNation claimed to no longer be in the recording business. There was a write up on the Van Jones signing that claimed Tidal is worth $600million. Us normals didn't buy that, what makes Jay think potential buyers will, lol. Jay Z's resources seem to be drying up fast and Beyonce's fans remain clueless.
Once her crossover appeal began to wane she hopped on the "woke" train, came back to the Black community and the sillies fell for it hook, line and sinker. I can't wait to see what they do next. Oh, that's right, twins!

Stans believe this crap about Camel being on the billion status. When did he make a billions dollars? He will never be a billionaire. He is not broke but he is not on billion status. This annoys me.
His current contract with live nation expires next year so he renewed it. I think it's smart to sign this retiree contract to perform but not to make more albums. My take on this is Camel is jealous of rappers like Drake therefore he refuses to sit down because he wanna compete with the youngins. He is low key competing with his wife too. Can he sell Tidal and go away? This deal made me feel the same about Diddy and his Bad Boy reunion tour. Why can't this set of retired rappers go away?

It's a huge house but it doesn't look like it's in the $100 million price range. Celebrities buy homes under trusts and llcs and keep the address and identity private.

Beyonce is funding Tina's lifetyle buying her million dollar homes in NYC and in Beverly Hills.
They can't afford $100,000,000 mansions but they can afford multiple million dollar homes.
They do not have Bill Gates money but they aren't hurting . They have more than a lot people in the entertainment industry.

To add, Beyonce has been bringing in more dough than JZ for years.  He raps and brags about her money because she makes more than him. Catch the tea. JZ Forbes net worth is far from the truth. Diddy too.

He is not signed to any record label. He owns shares in RocNation an independent label distributed by Universal Records. Are you familiar with his career? He has mostly taken the independent route starting with his first album. He was never a label puppet. This may very well be the reason he is able to retain some of his masters. Beyonce is on her way out of Sony but the credit on her recent album revealed that she owns the publishing of that album. The only way she could block it from streaming on Spotify and Apple this long. The two are not examples of slaves to the industry. They are better examples of greed, egoism and narcissism.

Stop believing press releases and use your common sense. Why in the world would Tidal or Sprint just give an aging middleman who no longer sells albums and doesn't bring in large box office receipts 400 million bucks? His artists don't even sell like that anymore.
Just because the numbers look good on paper, it doesn't mean it's real. The millions Jay earns had to pay bills, employee wages, travel, taxes and whatever overhead that goes into living their lifestyle. Hollywood money is never as straightforward as it seems and that is why there are so many theories floating about the Carters real net worth.

I do believe Beyonce is the breadwinner in their marriage. For whatever reason (I guess it's love) she stays with Shawn Carter's cheating, scheming, tap dancing behind and allows him to use her when $$ are running low. I'll just be happy when she does a Tina Turner and leaves his ass in the dust like a real feminist would.

It is mainly people with NO CLUE how the industry works. Like someone rightly observed, when? When did they mke these so called millions, not when being signed (and artist immediately go into debt with signing bonuses etc.., Bey and family were living in a 2 bedroom apt so they were NOT balling in anyway when she was signed, same with Ja)y.

Ok, mag covers, endorsements but what about overhead, label costs (marketing, legal, production etc.. etc.. etc..) what about living costs, touring costs they DO have costs

Beyonce has underperformed out the gate with Sony being promised MJ numbers and we know how that didn't pan out, she got advances based onthese projections, each project falling shorter and shorter, costs staying up and legal fees are hella expensive even for everyday people, their team is mandated by Sony and charge probably 1000USD or more per hour (my company was recently paying on at $500 so that is low probably more like $2500. They get pennies on the album, they ar enot streaming giants even if so that would be more pennies

I dated a famous rapper and saw his royalty check on many occassions and it always used to depress the shit out of him, he is now acting as well and sold out (he started on conscious) for that $$$ only those promoting an agenda are kept on a label. Many of us are child like in our thinking and refuse to face facts, refuse. People will die talking about, thinking on these slaves' so called billion. They are scum and deserve the years of booty shaking and uh huh, uh huh that is surely to come, that is not a boss, that is a minstrel show (paying homage to white supremacy and colorism and materialism.

Beyonce's first deal with Sony was for a total of three albums Dangerously In Love, B'Day and IAm Sasha Fierce. The record label was not supportive of Beyonce's singles on Dangerously In Love. Beyonce paid to record her second album B'Day without their knowledge because of lack of support she received for her first. At no point they thought she was the next Michael Jackson, how delusional, in fact they opposed to every single on her solo debut.
Her second deal was for another three albums 4, Beyonce and Lemonade. She agreed to a partnership deal with Sony for more more control in her career. Lemonade is her last album of the partnership deal and she attained the right to the publishing of that album.
HDD said Sony offered her $10,000,000 per album to stay but we will see. She has set herself up nicely to live.
Beyonce is one of the few stars who put their money where their mouth is and never relied on a record label.
