Here's his lawsuit w iconix, the people he sold rocawear to. www.documentcloud.org/documents/3690915-Iconix.htmlWhen dummy sold roc nation, he also sold the intellectual property of the word ROC and most likely didn't read the contract when he sold rocawear in 2007. 2007 he created roc nation and BOOM! Dummy realizes he fukd up, realized he can't use the word roc without compensating iconix, the ppl who bought rocawear and the word roc. He will not get away with that lawsuit. Poor jayz. MLB came along and offered him money to put them hats out he was probably broke and jumped on it without telling iconix, hoping they wouldn't mind but they did and now he must pay the piper Read page 8 of 65 (especially lines 33-36) to find out jay tea. Hahaaa

Hey flea spray, uh yeah he is some brilliant minded business billionaire www.ihiphop.com/blog/jay-z-loses-lawsuit-over-roc-a-fella-%E2%80%9Cdiamond%E2%80%9D-hand-sign/"Who knew that people took out copyright licenses on hand signs? Well, Jay-Z- didn’t and now he’s paying up for it. Former pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page copyrighted his hand gesture called the “Diamond Cutter”, way back in the 90’s. Jay-Z used the same hand gesture, probably not knowing it was copyrighted, in most of his videos and on the cover of the “Roc La Familia” album, as well as t-shirts. Page filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z and Roc-A-Wear for copyright and trademark infringement. Both Jay-Z and Page settled the lawsuit late last month, with Jigga man handing down an unspecified amount of cash to the wrestler." That why he stopped using it!

Hi peeps. Not sure where I read this, so please don't quote me on this. So about 1 or 2 yrs ago, I read that the Carters would sell off a few of their Masters/ the ownership of their songs... for money. I'm thinking it meant they did this in order to keep up with a lifestyle they acquired and became accustomed to when they were making good money hand over fist. I haven't researched this because I didn't care to, due to already feeling overloaded with information from and about this "billionaire couple. It didn't matter if it were truths or lies...I felt anymore forced fed info about them would cause me to overdose. Lol. Just wondering has anyone else heard or read about this.

Good looking out Flea Spray. This lawsuit begs to question is Jay Z stupid or was he so desperate for a windfall that he did not care to violate the terms of his agreement with this company?
