Hello everyone! Sorry for not posting anything these past weeks. I have been busy with classes and some personal issues. Now we all know things are not really looking good for Bey, career wise. No new album ready yet. I even doubt it's going to be released, anyway, here is the tea. (EDIT: someone already posted it on the forum. My apologies!!! ). The daily mail published on its website an article stating Beyonce REFUSED to take an audition for "The Princess and the Frog" Disney animation film. Apparently, she expected the role to be handed to her simply because her name is Beyonce. The producers of the film were so pissed off by her behaviour they just told her "to the left" and didn't give her the role. In the same article, they mention Alicia Keys had 3 auditions. Yes, THREE. Just 3 years ago, you would NEVER see such an article written about Beyonce. She is the perfect goddess with a multi billion octave voice (sarcasm), so how could people ever criticize her? These days are clearly OVER, the mainstream is not afraid to speak anymore. I have two theories. Either mainstream media will continue the backlash and may reveal some dirt that could be harmful to her career, or they won't really pay attention to her over the years and she will fade away. Your thoughts? link

Beyonce is quite aware of what the pubic feels about her and it feeds into her insecurities. How many times has she "listened" to her so-called, haters? So her not wanting to audition may have had something to do with knowing the public hates her speaking voice. I noticed in her latest commercial they used a voice over to make her sound a little bit more, ummm... literate. LOl, so this is one reason I think she didn't want to audition. The other reason is this woman's ego. She probably figured that role would be hers just because she's Beyonce the Great. And if they had just given her this role, then it would somehow prove to the masses that her speaking voice is just as great as she is. The poor thing is always trying to prove something when she should just relax and be who she really is. No one is perfect and there's nothing wrong with that. This was also was a way to not be embarrassed or rejected.
