Yeah and bey isn't an innocent and passive victim in all this. Like I said, that media protection comes from somewhere. She's so greedy! She presents it as her drive and her perfectionism but I don't see it so positively. I also see that she is consumed by this monstrous desire of a perfect image. I'd respect her more if she had an artist's soul and cared for the music and the singing and the lyrics. But it's like those are means to an end: money and projecting a false image. Bey & Jay being connected to Harvey is either going to make them rise to the occasion like so many people that are condemning Harvey or they are going to be silent thus complicit.
I think Jay offering to buy Harvey's stake in the Weinstein company was just a fancy PR way of trying to denounce Harveys actions without making a forceful written or visual statement condemning Harvey's actions. Bey is supposed to be the ultimate feminist but she has stayed mum about Harvey's sexual harassment. Harvey sexually harassed Gwenyth Paltrow which I thought was Bey's best friend. Even Tamron Hall who has an upcoming talkshow with the Weinstein company came out with a condemning statement, mentioned that she called Harvey and talked to him about the allegations, and Tamron is talking to lawyers about how she should move forward. What are Bey & Jay going to do? Are they in talks with lawyers about getting out of the Weinstein production deals?
Unfortunately, I have a feeling Bey & Jay maybe in too deep with the Weinstein's. Since the allegations have been out about Harvey, reporters are stating how Harvey could ruin actresses careers by putting out bad press releases concerning actresses that didn't conform to his advances. Harvey was also known to catapult an actresses career if she took his bait. Where does Bey & Jay fit into Harvey's world. Was Harvey the guy that greenlit all of those positive PR stories about Bey & Jay while making sure nothing bad got out about the couple? Is he the owner of the Blind Trust on the Carter's new mega mansion? Did he release the elevator footage to get Jay into formation or help the couple sell concert tickets? Did he abuse Bey to seal Jay's business deals? Does he have concrete proof of Bey's pregnancy shenanigans? So many questions.
As a feminist and mother of daughters, Bey gotta take a stand against violence against women. If Bey suffered in the industry, I hope Bey would tell other girls and her own girls how not to suffer. She can start by condemning Harvey Weinstein's sexual harassment.

Hi topaz, First let me say that if she did speak on Weinstein and if she suffered any abuse, it would expose Jay as her handler/pimp. So that's that! You know we can't be having that. LOL!
And secondly, I don't think Bey will ever tell or speak on anything that she feels will possibly make people give her the side eye about or possibly make a bad or negative reflection on her... even though she's built relationships with questionable, yet powerful people. She's shown she will go through great lengths to appear saintly, perfect and beyond amazing in her work and personal life. She's done so well that she literally has fans/stans praising her, creating a new found religion and church in her honor. I believe she's one of those people who will take what they know the their grave. Whether that's out of selfishness or being scared for her life and livelihood... IDK, but from what I've been told there are many Weinsteins' in the business. So as far as her speaking up to save or educate others...I don't think she'll concern herself with that. Hell, I don't think she's even built like that. Besides, she's too busy trying to maintain her relevancy in this world. Hence, all of the Kim Kardashian-esqe selfies she's been trying to emulate and outdo. As of late, she's shown more interest in having full ownership of the "Blue Ivy" name...by any means necessary. Which reminds me...the Beyhive want to paint a pic of someone who's so kind, godly, innocent, righteous and fair, but won't speak on how unfair and ugly Bey's been acting just to get rights to a name someone else had already paid for and has used for their business for years. That hair color is so much better than what she wears now.  There is a thread from about 5 or 6 ago on LSA discussing the activities of that foursome.
