I'm so mad. Solange directed SZA's music video for the song "The Weekend". The video is terrible.
Black Twitter and black blogs are upset with how terrible the video is. They are roasting the video. It's so bad that others and myself are questioning SZA and Solange's friendship. I tried to give Solange the benefit of the doubt. I thought she was a little different than Bey. All I can say is that Solange has now joined the dark side. I hate to say it but this video is clear sabotage of Solange's competition.
SZA and Solange make that indie/neo soul music and Solange wants to reign supreme over it like her sister has reigned supreme over R&B. It doesn't help that the mainstream music industry has given Solange the indie/neo crown (there's no way that Solange's album, with no hits, should have won a Grammy over Rihanna's Anti album).
Solange always tried to be different than her sister but her direction of SZA's video reveals (without a shadow of a doubt) that she has learned Bey's tricks to maintain relevance by sabotaging the competition. One Twitter user said the video looks like Solange directed it based on her own likes and career instead of considering SZA's personal interests and what will help SZA's career.
That terrible video will set SZA backwards for awhile but don't be surprised if Solange wins tons of awards for that bad video because Kanye told us how the Knowles bully their way to winning awards.

Here's my little list of the Sabotage the Competition Playbook Rules followed by Bey and now Solange (Please excuse its length, there's a lot of backstabbing to go thru): 1. Befriend a popular new artist (praise them on social media & take a photo with them to seem genuine but you're just trying to stay relevant). Remember when Bey did this to Rita Ora (that ended in Rita's lawsuit against RocNation), Alexander Burke (Bey and her choreographer were supposed to mentor her after she won the UK XFactor but shortly after Alex made a hit album, Alex career unexpectedly suffered). Bey once said Rihanna was like family after the Chris Brown incident but we can see to this day how Bey clearly sabotages Rih but thankfully Rih lives her life and pays Bey & those sabotage tactics dust. Jay & Kanye's relationship is on the level of Shakespeare tragedies. 2. Have the new artist write you a hit song or you direct their music video (afterwards find a way to ruin their career). Bey has strong armed songwriters for years, she has lied that she was the sole songwriter of hit songs, Bey always passes off other people's work as if she thought of it all by herself and directed it herself (see controversies surrounding Lemonade, Irreplaceable, If I was a Boy, Single Ladies choreography and etc.). Wynter Gordon is a unique Bey case. She basically wrote most of Lemonade; however, she was a successful American singer overseas. She wrote the song with the line, "Becky with the good hair". We all know Bey wanted us to think she wrote it so much so that the BeyHive bullied those they thought were Becky. Wynter's own music videos and songs were great. It's funny that Wynter said Bey told her to use her government name instead of her stage name (Wynter). Did Bey tell Wynter that to prevent people from seeing Wynter's awesome music videos and hearing her songs? Unfortunately, Wynter serves as a vocal coach for Bey's pet project Chloe & Hailey which is just weird. Check out this article on Chloe and Hailey www.vulture.com/2016/05/chloe-halle-bailey-beyonce-generation.htmlSolange is now directing newcomers music videos and it's not going well (see SZA "The Weekend" music video controversy). Solange has also been accused of stealing indie artists music. It's not difficult for her to do so because she has that indie record label. I'm afraid for the new girl she's promoting (Kelela) because if she could make SZA's music video suffer, what will she do to others. Let's not talk about Jay's countless sabotages. 3. Make sure your PR teams are bulldogs and have no shame (I can only imagine how much money they spend yearly to have blogs, news outlets, and TV shows spew such nauseating headlines about them which no other artist can compete with or want). The Knowles and Carter's PR teams have no shame. They will hire bots and entice fans to start internet wars (the worst wars involve nasty colorism and wealth comments), put out lies just to keep their clients' names in the news cycle, they don't even care if the public knows the news stories are lies, have every new artist and old artist praise Bey, Jay & Solo. I hate to see stars having to sit thru an interview that's full of Bey, Jay & Solo questions. They never get to talk about their projects. Just see what the Destiny Child members go thru, Jennifer Hudson, and new Hollywood stars like Zendaya have to confess their love for Bey. No one but Donald Trump has ever commanded such unnecessary praise & loyalty. People are just people. If they help you, then say thank you and return the favor and move on, if they show you respect, respect them and keep it moving. No one is required to worship anyone. Not even God. He gave us free will. 4)Make backroom deals to win awards (without the deal you will not even think about coming to a measly award show). Bey & Jay has played this game so well that other artists have given up even wanting to be nominated. It's now the norm. Everyone suspected that Bey was making some type of deals to win all those awards. Yes, she can put on a decent show but win awards over Anita Baker, Mark J. Blige, and other divas seems suspect. Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, and Aretha don't have as many Grammys as Bey & Jay and those ladies are vocal bibles, style bibles, and fame bibles for everyone. Kanye confirmed what we all suspected for years. The saddest part of this is she will win every award at a black award show but refuse to come to a plethora of black award shows. Also if she doesn't win a white award show trophy, she'll play the race card (but never did anything to ensure equality as long as she was winning those white awards). 5) Act like you're holier than thou to keep the competition to zero and The Powers That Be oblivious to your competition. We have all seen Bey's veils and crowns, extra long & stolen musical performances, mythical births, and witnessed her silent treatment for interviews all in order to seem better than everyone else. Unfortunately, Bey, Jay & Solo's deceptive performance art has casted a spell on some people. It's a shame because it has always been hard for black women in music but now it's even harder if one of their peers is deeming herself the best of the best with backing from The Powers That Be. Black or white music executives aren't trying to get the next black female singing star. Maybe it's because they want crossover success or more than likely it's because they don't want to deal with the competition sabotage from Bey & Solange.

I like SZA's music but this video is a no for me. Solange is not the creative genius she has been promoted to be and this video proves it. She had SZA looking like a broke Beyonce dancing in the parking garage in some glittering ensemble. And what is the deal with Beyonce's little apprentices? Oh they are trying to clamp on to Cardi B too. They have no shame. What I don't understand is why the White female artists are smart enough to stay away while all the artists with melanin suck up to the Carters.

From that link you posted: "The Bailey family actually met Beyoncé nearly a decade before Chloe and Halle signed with her, back when a 3-year-old Chloe played the little-girl version of Beyoncé’s character in the 2003 movie musical Fighting Temptations. Courtney hadn’t planned on making her daughters showbiz kids." " “For me, it was about building a foundation of confidence, public speaking, knowing how to meet people, to read scripts and rehearse, and if they got the gig, even better,” Courtney tells me" Umm their whack ass mother sounds in denial that she was a stage mother, and is saying meaningless fancy sounding things!! I'm so sorry for these girls. Bey didn't let her "sister" Kelly whom she has known since childhood to be a star. What chance do these strangers have? And they're signed to a 6 album contract!!! Poor things!

I have a vague memory of the Carters saying the same thing about Blue. Didn't they hire a speech therapist or something for Blue?

Yeah exactly, putting your children near entertainment and Hollywood for their 3 year old "self esteem". And again this from the article: "I’m sure the girls probably didn’t get 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 roles just because of their hair,” says Doug, who can cite multiple times casting agents would call, ask if the girls could straighten their hair, and then never call back once he said no." I appreciate the race and heritage aspect, but on the other hand why did they think an actress was going to play 40 roles with the same hair?! Actors cut their hair, straighten it, curl it, dye it, go bald and shave it, wear wigs etc to play characters. From this I understood they're dumb about managing an entertainment career!! Practically letting a potential acting career go to waste. Which explains why beyonce and team captured and caught these poor girls! How many years ago did we hear of them? Who has ever heard any music, where are they?! They're stringing the girls along making them feel like they're working on stardom! About the blue girl's speech coach, it was a tabloid report so who knows if it's true? But if they want to mold her after beyonce then i see why they'd do that to not make the same mistakes lol.

I want Chloe & Halle to be successful but I'm worried about their association with Bey. For a long time, it seemed like those girls were only brought out for special occasions to glorify Bey and show up at the black functions that Bey wouldn't be caught dead at. I think theses girls are just another stream of non prioritised income for Bey.
The article I posted earlier clearly stated that the girls have wrote over 150 songs and send songs to Bey every week; however, Teresa White (Bey's Parkwood Entertainment A&R) said, " I think at some point Beyoncé actually did listen to all of them". Theresa also said Bey emails them regularly and meets with the girls face to face every couple of months. I'm questioning how successful does she want those girls to become and what is the management fee that she is charging them. Is Parkwood Entertainment another blind trust situation with someone else running the operation but Bey is the spokesperson similar to RocNation? Maybe its a Live Nation spinoff...
Hopefully, things will change when the girls start on that Grownish show (spin off of Blackish). Fun Fact: The star of Grownish is Yara Shahidi, who is the daughter of Afshin Shahidi. Afshin was Prince's photographer. Afshin released a book of Prince's photos but allowed Bey to write the Forward for the book. Yara along with Chloe & Halle are in advertisements for Ivy Park. Yara will be attending Harvard along with Obama's daughter. Not only will Chloe & Halle have a reoccurring role on the show, they are singing the theme song. Small world???
Bey's real starlet will be Blue Ivy. Have y'all noticed that Bey has been dropping videos of Blue dancing at home, parties and at school? She's even rapping on Jay's CD. Blue has been seen at more adult concerts than any kid her same age. Once I saw her attend a Bruno Mars concert & Kendrick Lamar concert that took place way past a baby's bedtime, I knew she was being groomed for the stage. I'm worried that the next black female superstar that black girls will have will be Blue Ivy. No other black female has been able to breakthrough. With Bey's connections, especially PR, you would think Chloe & Halle would be mega stars by now. Bey is saving her resources for Blue Ivy. I think Blue is Jay and Bey's main retirement plan.

Nicki, it's because they know how shady and greedy the Carters are. Plus Bey & Jay don't sit well with poor white Trump conspiracy theory fans. Bey & Jay jumping on the BLM bandwagon has cost them greatly in the white community. Some of us black people have been brainwashed to support anything black even though it's destructive or negative. Some of us don't subscribe to the notion that not all skin folk are kin folk. Just look at our continued support of R Kelly & Russell Simmons.
One white girl did sign to Bey's Parkwood Entertainment. It's Sophie Beem. I have never heard Bey mention her or anyone mention her over the years except once she signed to Parkwood. If you Google Sophie, you'll see that she has been working. But I wonder why she's kept so hush hush. Chole & Halle signed with Bey for a 6 CD deal for just one million dollars. I wonder what was Sophie's deal. The production/marketing costs of two CDs plus travel, makeup & hair would cost about one million. This is not a favorable financial situation.
According to Google, Sophie Beem released an EP in 2016 and was on the Formation tour. I didn't see Sophie Beem or Chloe & Halle working on any of the mainstream award shows, mainstream blogs or trending on social media. Bey & Solange gotta get rid of their egos & Sabotage the Competition Playbooks if they want to be successful managing other singers' careers. Managers around Bey & Solange like Mathew failed and hasn't recovered and Jay has lost many artists over the years.

The Carter’s make me sick trying to attach themselves to Prince’s legacy. Yep...they are grooming Blue and will groom the twins also. Pathetic....I need for them to get exposed.

Once again topaz never disappoints with the information. I'm going to try and put this delicately, Blue is adorable but she's built like her daddy. I don't see Bey making her into a star. Whitney tried to do the same thing with Krissy but daddy's genes were too strong. Look whose coattails they are hopping on now. They remind me of 2 creepy old dudes in the club hunting for young flesh.

I bet they were assured Hillary would win before the campaigning even began so they expected to be golden. Bey was even audacious enough to perform at the CMA's days before the election. Then it all went to dirt. Beyonce is back to modeling cheap streetwear on IG and Jay is on the road rapping about money ain't a thing at age 50+. Just how desperate does one's situation have to be to drag two newborns and a 5 year old from city to city? Another thing, can someone explain to me what have they contributed to BLM other than $$$ and Lemonade?

Some Twitter users believe Solange sabotaged SZA because SZA critized Bey in an old Tweet. Many years ago SZA tweeted, "Beyonce lookin more and more like Madonna every day! Coulda swore she was black at one point…”. www.idolator.com/7575749/sza-dragged-beyonce-rihanna-ciara-and-nicki-minaj-in-old-tweets-issues-apologyI can't see where SZA was telling no lies about Bey. I'm cautiously assuming that Bey wasn't too pressed about the critique because she allowed SZA to write that "Feelin Myself" song for her & Nicki. Bey even put SZA in her IVY Park ads. But we all know Bey is the Queen of Backdoor Deals and Competition Sabotage; therefore, maybe she was plotting all of the time to humiliate SZA one way or another. Anyone remember SZA's first BET performance at the BET awards, where production messed up SZA's music thus making her start over again on live television? Was Bey or the The Powers That Be hazing SZA during that incident and is the embarrassing music video that Solange directed another tactic used to stop or launch SZA's career? It was reported earlier this year, that SZA tried to kill herself at the start of her tour, which resulted in several tour date cancelations. There's a lot of weird circumstances surrounding SZA and messing around with the Knowles/Carters is just making things worst for her. She's not her record label's (TDE) first female affliated singer. Alori Joh was but she killed herself by jumping off a radio tower theboombox.com/alori-joh-dead-dies-at-25/ You would think with SZA's Muslim background and well to do family (dad was a high ranking CNN executive and mother was an executive at AT&T) she would steer away from such nonsense but if you read some of her interviews, you can see that she's got plenty if issues, which can make it easy for her to be taken advantage of www.rollingstone.com/music/features/sza-talks-ctrl-depression-discrimination-top-dawg-w500004If Solange intentionally sabotaged SZA's music video because of an old Tweet, I want Solange to remember all of the times she suffered due to Bey's career. Solange has given more to Bey than she receives back. Bey allowed her sister to get dragged in the news for days following the elevator beat down. Only when there were rumors that Solange was going to face criminal charges did Bey speak up for her. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think that Solange was set up for that allergic reaction at her wedding that took place after the elevator incident (all the newspapers showed that awful photo of Solange's swollen face but Bey was made out to be the hero of the day). I always thought that was Bey & Jay's way to get back at Solange for embarrassing them at the Met Gala. Why would something you're allergic too be featured at your wedding or better yet why would you eat it? SZA also criticized Rihanna when Rih & Ciara were having a public argument. SZA stated at that time, “Neither Rihanna or Ciara can hold a note worth a damn… ones just worse than the other. So wats the beef?!?". Thankfully, Rihanna is confident in her voice and purpose. She wasn't petty enough to let it stop her from singing with SZA on their song for the Anti CD. They performed the song "Consideration" live together, SZA models Fenty Beauty and Rihanna has even attended SZA's concerts as a fan.

Well Solange may have finally gave an answer to why the video that she directed for SZA was so terrible. Solange has announced that she is suffering from an autonomic disorder (illness that affects your nerves) m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5a44f319e4b025f99e19e35eSolange stated that she's been suffering from the illness for months and quietly battling it. Her doctor has informed her to not fly and work for awhile. For years, there has been rumors that she may have a mental disorder. I remember in a news article years ago Solange said her mom begged her to not get into the music industry, she wanted Solange to go to college instead and do something else with her life. I think the music industry is brutal but can you imagine trying to make it in the industry with a domineering & forced superstar sister like Beyonce. The pressure to try to get an ounce of fame in the era of Beyonce is enough to make you crazy and sick. Here's more about the autonomic disorder from Metro Lifestyle blog: "The disorders (of which there are a number of specific incarnations) affect the autonomic nervous system, that sends signals to the brain regarding involuntary functions. This means symptoms can include changes in body temperature and sexual function, blood pressure and heart rate issues, bowel and bladder issues, fatigue, weakness, lightheadedness, and fainting. This can also affect digestion, causing bloating, stomach pain, vomiting, and constipation. It’s pretty hard to put the condition into one particular box, as sufferers can have all or only a couple of these issues, and they can get worse or better at different times" metro.co.uk/2017/12/29/what-is-autonomic-disorder-the-illness-solange-knowles-has-been-diagnosed-with-7190265/
