Welcome to the beginning of the end, everyone. Her beyhive thinks she's going to recover from this, but she won't. They think that album flopped and the tour is selling poorly solely because of Jay-Z, but that's not the case. Her time is up, finally. She's already been around almost a decade longer than she deserved but she's survived off of gimmicks and stunts, going all the way back to when she revealed her baby bump at the 2011 MTV Awards.
She did that to deflect from the fact that "4" flopped hard and she was getting real criticism from the press. And everything she's done since then has been no substance and all gimmick. She dropped "Beyonce" as a surprise because all the buzz singles leading up to it ("Standing in the Sun", "Bow Down") got trashed by the public and the critics. So she bypassed the traditional roll out, put it out with the videos all at once, and everyone was blown away. A successful stunt. Unfortunately, the music was forgettable and not one single reached number one. Drunk in Love hit number two on the charts and then faded. It's not a classic and no one cares about it to this day, just like the rest of the songs on "Beyonce". She used feminism as a gimmick as well and it worked. Still, the music was not resonating but people were kissing her behind, the press was excellent, and that's all that mattered.
Then came Lemonade. It was a semi-surprise but the main gimmick in regards to its release was that it was a "movie" and aired on HBO. Everyone was hype for about a week, her crazy stans in the media writing essay after essay about how great it was. Not one song hit number one. The singles didn't make any noise on the charts and the sales were lower than "Beyonce". The other gimmick was her confirming the rumors that Jay cheated on her and relying on blackness and black culture to shield her from criticism. No one talked about the music. All anyone cared about was trying to find out who "Becky with the good hair" was and the fake "pro-black" aspect of the visual.
And now we've come to Everything is Love. The gimmick was the surprise drop live on stage, plus fake pro-blackness, plus more focus on their marriage. She even went so far as to drop nudes. And no one cares. The album belly flopped. 69,000 sold. Mind you, just two months ago her stans where saying she was greater than Michael Jackson and that he wasn't on her level. "Top two and I ain't number two". Yeah, how's that going for you. A nearly 40 and 50 year old couple, parents of three children, doing a Bonnie and Clyde trap album like they're 20-something Cardi B and Offset. How embarrassing.
But to finish the point, it's over for her. Her next solo album will flop too. The stunts are no longer working, she's nearly 40, the music is no good and hasn't been for a long time, etc. And worst of all, she bought into her own hype and became more arrogant than ever. And the fact that she bought into her own hype is the main reason this album flopped and the main reason why she wont' be able to come back. She really thought she was one of the greats. She thought she was a Michael or a Prince, and that she no longer had to give interviews or interact with the public. Michael and Prince could do that because they possessed otherworldly talent and made some of the best music ever recorded. Beyonce is moderately talented and her music is basic and forgettable. Her ego allowed her to think that not only could she cut off the public and present herself as a God, but that she could be arrogant and braggadocious, and that people would continue to fall at her feet. She thought she was too good to come off her false pedestal and promote an album just like every other artist out here is doing.
This is the beginning of the end. I look forward to her releasing her solo project and watching that flop too. It couldn't happen to a more awful and deserving person. She really thought she was Beysus. What did she say on Apeshit? That she's even "greater than the hype". Yeah, I wonder how great she feel looking at those abysmal sales numbers.

I enjoyed reading your entire post. Thank you. I have been saying for years this girl is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Her entire "career" is copy and paste and her so called music is garbage, senseless gibberish. To compare her to the legendary, MJ is an absolute INSULT to him and his legacy. Even her stains know who the best is and make it a point to every now and then compare her to him and she is not on his level and never was/will be. She is a manufactured gimmick. When this lemonade nonsense was released and people were speaking about her video and her being "woke", and the Superbowl performance (dressed similar to MJ mind you), I read the "lyrics" to one of her songs and did not get the connection. The whole hot sauce in her bag, I slay, he F%$^ me good I take him to Red Lobster, etc., had me wondering WTH is this mess? What does this have to do with BLM? She will use anything as a prop to sell her garbage music. For her to even think she is on the same level as MJ or Prince shows how truly ignorant she is. There is not enough p poppin she can do to get on the level of either of these extraordinarily talented men. To compare her to either is an INSULT to them. INSULT.

Smoke and mirrors is exactly right. Even from the very beginning. She was in a group because she wasn't impressive enough as a solo act to get signed. Matthew Knowles himself said that the purpose from the very beginning was for her to be a solo artist, even as they lied to the other girls and the fans and said she'd never leave the group. She couldn't do what Brandy, Monica, Britney, Christina, Aaliyah, etc. were doing. She didn't have the talent level or charisma to pull it off. It took her until she was in her mid 20s to be able to do what they were doing at 14 and 15. If she could have gotten signed at 14 without a group, she would have but she couldn't. So the group was just a vehicle for her to develop a name and more talent to be able to go solo. Smoke and mirrors from day one.
People are no longer buying into the stunts. Her little beyhive was dragging Christina when her album dropped for being a "has been" and yet the Carters, the GREATEST ARTISTS OF ALL TIME!!!!, only sold 8,000 more copies than "has been" Christina.http://hitsdailydouble.com/building_album_chart
She won't ever be able to come back because of the reasons I listed above. But to expand on that, she won't humble herself. How can you call yourself "Beysus" and greater than Michael Jackson and Prince, when you have to go out and give interviews like every other common artist. How are you above every other person in the industry when you have to go out and encourage people to buy your music like the same "bitches" you were just telling to "bow down". Her whole persona crumbles if she's not allowed to stay silent on her golden mountaintop looking down at everyone she's supposedly greater than.
I'm so looking forward to the downfall. Now her fans are saying this is no big deal and that she'll come back next year with the Lion King and win an Oscar for Best Song? LOL, yeah right. They base this on the rumor that she's got a song with Elton John and his writing partner of 50 years, Bernie Taupin. They really think those two are gonna let her get a writing credit on a song with them so she can win an Oscar. LOL. That's going to be the next nail in her coffin. Having to actually promote the Lion King like a common celebrity and then not even win anything for it. I can't wait.

She tried to get an Oscar in the way of Best Song before for Dreamgirls. Her name was added to the writing credit for "Listen" and the academy was not having it. LOL!!! Bey is no songwriter and I believe nearly everyone knows that. I am hoping in some way this woman is not going to actually be part of the Lion King. Her diction is beyond horrendous and cringe worthy and heave knows, I am sick of her yodeling over everything. The Lion King should go to someone with actual theater experience and care about the craft. She is only in it for accolades and to finally perhaps get the Oscar she has been drooling over since she lost out to Jhud for Dreamgirls. She does not care about the art itself. It is always about her, Beyallboutme.

I won't believe she's in the lion king till i see it.
The whole thing might be a stunt and she could drop out with some excuse at the last minute.
As for Christina being a has been, I would like to see beyonce disappear as long as she did with zero stunts and come back and still have a top 20 album. She barely stays afloat with constant attention. She's as much of a has been as a Britney or a Christina. But for the reasons y'all beautifully listed she's been injecting her career with adrenaline shots and jay z is already officially a has been and has been for a long time. Beyonce has been ferociously avoiding it. I feel like half the reason liberal media like the guardian praises her is only because conservatives hate her for "hating the police". A vast and huge number of her band wagon stans only profess to like her and defend her just to be against the extreme right wing types who became racist against her after the super bowl fiasco. That's why she flops. They defend her when she's brought to their attention but they're not really checking for her. I think her team knows this and has been prolonging her career by triggering the liberals and SJWs to defend and praise her. That and catering to the desperate fans still clinging to the "yas slay queen" narrative when she's narcissistic.

"Suck on my balls", the nude pictures, the stripper inspired costumes, the saying ni*ga in all the songs, etc. Under Matthew's management, the illusion of classiness was upheld. She did some sexy stuff but she never got vulgar and she never said any curse worse stronger than "Damn" or "hell". Now it's fuck this, fuck that, suck my dick, n*ga, hoe, bitch, her behind hanging out in every costume, twerking, etc. This is all her and Jay's influence. The older she gets, the more desperate and trashy she gets. I hate to see what she'll be doing at 40 just to get some attention. She is not going to handle aging well at all.
