Hmmmm...does that strike anyone else as weird? How often do you see events like this, just cancelled like that? I'm sure it took months of planning, what "unforeseen circumstances", come on now......He didnt do the right thing by blacks when it came to Barneys, and it looks like it may be backfiring on him. Notice, they havent said "rescheduled", they said CANCELLED. Shhh...yall heard that? Sounds like the karma train continuing to round that final bend, to pick up its two best passengers, Jay and Bey! I think there cold be more to this. From my understanding the event was supposed to raise money for his foundation. It would be interesting to know if the foundation are getting money from anywhere else as part of this colab, like sales of the items. Anyway, as with all things Jay Z, it won't go well, especially starting off like this. It will all go quit like his sports agent thing, club, clothing line, etc. Before being quietly dropped.

I think it was cancelled because it would not be a good look. I think Jay's too thirsty and Barney's can tell so they are trying to dialit down a notc. allabout image. I think this line is going to tank. Simply because they pissed off their target market. And whitebuyers aren't down with Jay like that.

E also had some of the items which are, in my opinion, over priced! You can get similar looking items for a fraction of the price at cheaper outlets. And just to show how desperate it all is... Apparently, this is Beyonce rocking the collection.  |

Buzz around launch of Jay Z’s Barneys collection more about high prices than style Of course, except for the crazy few: I don't know what's funnier....that a student has that kind of money to waste or that one of the purchases included the ski mask above. |
