I was up late and came across this on LSA: "kk, 12 songs for the album have been picked. The hold up is not the album, but rather the deal. The numbers are out of this world, but Columbia is blocking on a small technicality that was agreed in 2002 about TV rights and as a result they are messing up the train. The deal numbers will explode if bey gets her TV rights. Regardless, those rights are coming back in the very near future. " You can read more here: www.lipstickalley.com/showthread.php?t=603399

Hmm well the looks of it (of what her stans discussed) seems like she will probably come out with a single, early next year? Explaining all these "sightings" of videos she's been shooting lately. Meaning....we will see this chick ALL next damn year. Lol, I'm going to have to stay off the internet and radio because that is the ONLY time I hear from this chick.

It really is a love fest over there (at LSA)...
Not enough sense to understand it is the fans that are getting screwed over, and all with the same formula. So, they're going to buy the tour DVD of songs that have already been released on album and already have a DVD video collection dedicated to them. But, they're just so grateful for the crumbs and will happily do it all over again.

no thank you, I'll not be sipping any of this. Reasons being:
Right now Beyonce is in no state to demand anything. She still owes the record label money from 4lop. Her tour's numbers are no good. Her deal with pepsi fell through. Her name is turning to mud as far as return on investment goes. Hadthis been the height of Beyonce era (bday;sasha fierce) Then yeah I would believe this but right now? No.
Secondly, Beyonce's been in the game for a long long time, only now when her grasp is weak she wants to start negotiating better contracts? that is the 1st thing you do when you get enough bargaining power. Matty would have seen to that a loooong time ago.
Thirdly, Beyonce is not on that status where she can tell the old white men in the boardrooms to go to hell. Do you know how long it took Michael to get on that level? Beyonce is nowhere near it.
Fourthly, this industry is grimier than it ever was. Whilst other industry are getting unions and better situations for workers hollywood is going backwards. You can see it in the way stars behave. They've got nothing to lose because they already lost it all. Beyonce is not going to get a fair deal out of anyone in Hollywood. No one does, except maybe Taylor Swift because she came in with looong money. They will put her in her place if she tries anything funny. Frankly, there are bigger money makers and hungrier young stars out there. They are up for whatever. Beyonce has this stupid idea of herself in her head so there are thigns she's not willing to do. All these other stars are willing to have themselves degraded any which way (Miley performance) so they'll get the better deals.
No one who you see on a stage runs anything. Not Bey, Jay, Britney, Katy. None of these little puppets are in charge of anything. the only thing they MIGHT be in charge of is when they take a dump.
Lastly, I'm going to have to side eye that tea spiller. It's probably someone from her camp. They said a little more further in the thread talking about how only Beyonce and her team know the release date for the album. That is a bold typed lie. Beyonce and all these other stars are told when to release. These companies do not play with their money. They have high priced, highly trained marketing people working for them, calculating with precision every move they want Beyonce to make. Beyonce does not get to choose release dates. Even when she released Bday. That was not her idea. These stars only know how to show up and sing. The reason singers like Michael stood out is because he knew differently. All these other idiots are happily going along with the tide. People don't understand just how little control singers have over their lives nowadays.
And then someone else further down said that Beyonce was screwed out of writing credits. That she wrote independent women etc etc. That was the final straw of disbelief for me. Very few singers actually write their songs. These labels have song writers who you wouldn't know on the street. Who look nothing like you imagine, writing a whole lot of generic songs. Then it is decided who should sing what. When you hear singers sounding like each other it's because they don't write their own music. That's why Beyonce can sing a song that makes you think "Rihanna". Adele has her own sound because she writes her own music, you don't mistake an Adele song for anyone elses.
So I think this thread was started by someone on her camp to deflect from the more believable rumours of Bey and her flopping issues. When I say the flopping issues rumours are believable it's because they have been around even before anyone suspected there was trouble. They are consistent from various sources, many of whom have certified legit status. And they make sense in terms of what is known (i.e the last album flopped, Bey has had a PR disaster ridden year, the general public doesn't want to see her).
So no thank you Original LSA Poster, I will not sip this tea, I think I see a rat tail in it.

@ejj I agree with you; felt this may have been a member of her team as well; what's sad is the ATRL beyhive thought the same thing and felt the least she could've done was give a press release and I agree!

I just realize that tea you spilled might have been true. She put out a whole new documentary just for this album. I guess she didn't like the reviews for the first doc, that she decided too do. The only reason she would do that is if she had planned to go the route of promoting her album. Look at what she's doing now that the album dropped promoting. I wouldn't be surprise if Sony/Columbia is doing this just so it can blow up in her face so they can say,"we told you so"!!LOl
