I'm just tired of these phony ass Girl Power Anthems she keeps putting out. They're such BS. Women with REAL power don't rely on their tits, ass and weave to make a point. They do it with intelligence. So it's a complete oxymoron that Beyonce pussy pops and gyrates while saying she's a Grown Woman. Women don't have to resort to such tactics. Her image is so toxic to black women and the sad part is that many people either fail to see it or refuse to admit it. The blonde hair, the weave wagging, pussy popping oversexualized dancing, materialism is all toxic to the psyches of young black women. There is a reason why flamboyant queens idolize this woman - because it's like she's one of them, a caricature of a real woman, not the real thing.

I'm exaggerating as well all know Beyoncé's bag of look-at-me moves is bottomless. The concept of Instagram gave her the perfect platform to do what she does best: display herself endlessly (but piecemeal) in all manner of mundane and shallow ways. I'll never be convinced that her ignorance, superficiality and juvenile reactionary antics are put-ons and she's really a savvy media figure using "the hate" and the media to her ultimate advantage. She still simply LOOKS like a stupid person and it continues to bear out in all the ways she promotes herself (and everything we hear and see about her, I believe, is promotion). |
