Beyonce just dropped her 5th album folks. She decided to self title this one. I was on Tumblr and I was scrolling down my dashboard and 'BAM' I see this song called 'Drunk In Love' ft Jay Z. I didn't even know it was new until I read the commentary.. Beyoncé just released her 5th studio album on iTunes, it’s 14 tracks long and comes with a music video for each of them
I’M SCREAMING. I’M SCREAMING. LORD JESUS TAKE ME NOW.
I decided to look around on the internet to see if it was true and it is. 14 songs and they have visuals attached. Jay Z, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Drake, Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and Blue Ivy—just to name a few. I just saw this on the side of daily mail. I guess that deal fell through with Columbia, she couldn't get the deal she wanted like jay z. I saw some of it but I had to cut that off, only because that's not beyonce it's a mix of everybody in the industry right now.

People think this is some kind of boss move. It's not. The album is a mess and she decided to put it out on her own. If you look at all the tweets, no one is saying the music is great. They're just hyped over how she dropped the album and getting their life over her being half naked in all the videos. And just wait until all those half naked videos start getting press. She's gonna face a real backlash from the soccer mom crew. Beyonce was supposed to be classy and acceptable. From what I'm reading on twitter, the lyrics are very sexually explicit and in most of the videos she's very scantily clad. Someone also said in one of the videos, there's some lesbianism going on. This just goes to show you how desperate she is.

Beyonce is a fucking cheat! This broad for real ripped off her sister's sound which was on the Saint Heron album! Also, if you look at some of those vids, I can guarantee you if Rihanna did them, she'd be chastised! I like the sound of it, but I can't support it given her past discretions and the fact that she continues to steal bit by bit. It's irritating.

I haven't heard it, but from what I'm reading on twitter, only one song, called Partition, seems to be good. Other than that, no one, and I mean, NO ONE is talking about the music. You can watch the video previews of all the songs on Youtube. The videos look tame on Youtube but on twitter they're saying they're pretty explicit and not safe for work. The music sounds like total garbage. About four r&b/hip-hop songs and the rest are all really bad imitations of airy techno pop, trying to sound like the kind of stuff you hear in movies. Stuff that's already been done since the 90s by foreign pop bands like Air and Phoenix, but Beyonce's ratchet fans actually think it's a new sound. The songs all sound exactly same except for the obvious r&b songs. If you listen to the clips back to back, it really sounds like one big long song. Very simple music and stupid lyrics. |

I mean they had a R&B vibe, but I guess with all the copying of other peoples videos and music I just keep seeing Rihanna, Ciara. Like I said it's a little bit of everybody and not in a good way. I really don't think her dad would have allow her to release this. I think she's doing the same thing that jay did with his album get people to buy now then release the album on another date(Dec.20) she played her fans. She waited just so there would be so much hype, but some people aren't buying it. Like this one post wrote: I’ll wait till samples are out. Admittedly my expectations are very low. Beyonce has always chased after the current trends and garbled soul-less interpretations of them together to fill her albums; with that in mind, there is no way I can have high expectations for this. Oh, I just finished listening to the song Partition. Not to be gross but just to tell you how far Beyonce is trying to push the sexy envelope, she sings about performing oral on Jay and even says he "Lewinskied on me" meaning he ejaculated on her. It's disgusting. This is really gonna turn off the few non-ratchet fans she had left. I can't see the soccer moms who liked Single Ladies listening to this in the car with their kids. Not at all.

I listened to all the snippets and some full songs on sound cloud. Honest opinion if you like mature music then this isn't for you. This album fits in with the sexy rap music out today like that song "I luv this". You may find a song or 2 you like but I doubt it. Her vocals aren't the best except when she belting, her belting and I like when she makes her voice gritty as well. She talk about sex a lot well at least from what I saw on twitter and from what I heard. I was kind of torn if I should buy it. At first listen I was dying with laughter because it sounded terrible but then I listened again and I was like ok this album is a grower. I like how she dropped it the way she did as in to basically shut her fans up and I guess us as well because we kept saying she will fail this error, I mean era and she probably will but I digress. My whole reason of wanting to buy it was after watching this doc she put up she made a lot of sense plus regardless of how much I dislike her at times her work ethic is amazing and I feel bad for not supporting but I don't want to spend my money on this. Even if i dislike a person or their actions I will still support them if I like what their putting out but I'm not paying 16 dollars for this. Sorry Yonce but that's my little take on the album. Oh and you guys gave to see the grown woman clip that video is the worst of them all like worst then Tamar's "hot sugar" I was like just no but anyways I'm done now lol. Excuse any typos pls,

I just think people are making way too much of a big deal about this! Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't underground Artist always been releasing their albums with NO promotion? A lot of Artist have released an album with little to no promotion! You're 100% correct my dear. But since Beyaki is Mainstream, it's such a big Hype. But Underground artist alwaaaays do this it's nothing new under the sun. |

Well, well, well. All aboard for the Beyhoence Express. Does she hate herself? Of course everyone knows that releasing at christmass is desperate. Hopig Christmas sales will bolster she numbers. Which will make it even worse when she flops. From what you guys are telling me, I'm not hopeful about any of this. I got a twinge of hope when someone said RnB but it died when I read about the extreme nudity.
So Beyonce is selling sex again. Trying to be Rihanna again, copied other people's sound again? Oh well. We'll be here to read her her rights.
