Just finished listening to the entire album
One word to best describe it is BORING. She was taking a lot, lack of uptempo sound, very dark feel, to many slow songs
The music videos are excellent and are what makes the album take away the image ,the music alone will most likely flop. It has no chance of what Adele album did which was #1 for 24 weeks.

Sure she's breaking records and wining more awards than any female in history or whatever... but where do her albums stack up in the all time greatest selling? I don't think she is even in the top 100. And after all the hype has died down, do people even remember her songs? |

You'll be alright..just don't feed into all the obvious hype. I still have not seen or heard any of her new Poo Poo Platter..I won't ever support that Scoo-Bey-Doo..and I'll tell her to her face. |

How are you number 1 in 100 countries and you collectively sold only 200,000? The 618,000 is a record for itunes, but it's not a record for the most sold in the shortest period of time. And when it comes to digital sales only, Lady Gaga actually sold more than Beyonce with 662,000 in one week with Born This Way. The only record Beyonce beat was her own. She outdid herself in sales over B'Day which ironically also featured a video for every song. So with those numbers, that put her fifth on the list: Taylor Swift still reigns with going platinum in one week twice, Britney went platinum in one week once, Mary J. had over 700,000 for the Breakthrough, Lady Gaga did 662,000 with Born This Way, and Beyonce did 618,000 with her self titled album. So much for the King/Queen. |

I don't believe all the numbers that are coming out right now. remember they did that with IASF and later it turned out that that album did not do nearly as well as they claimed. They always do this. Along with the tours, sold out here, there, everywhere Only to find 50% of the tickets still available on concert day. It's all part of a marketing strategy. To create the illusion of demand. Beyonce's team knows her stans are certifiably brain dead. So they use gimmicks that work. From reading these things you would think Beyonce is the only one who ever sells out shows. Notice that other singers don't scream about how sold out their shows are. Yet plenty singers' shows sell out on the regular.
It's always smoke and mirrors with this woman.

Trying to sell off hype, but the rest of the world now sees she is biting everyone's style in these vids and most importantly the music SUCKS

Beyonce has been flopping consistently since she came out. For a little perspective, each of her solo albums sold less than the last one. That is not a rising star but a falling one.
