December 13, 2013: According to a TOP SNITCH at Sony BMG, Beyonce's late night album release was NOT meant to happen this way at all.
We spoke with TWO insiders who BOTH confirm that the label execs DID NOT LIKE Beyonce's album, felt that she was moving in too "RATCHET" a direction, and were prepared to CUT THEIR LOSSES and scrap the entire album. They were DEFINITELY NOT willing to spend any $$ for promotion.
Beyonce - taking advice from Jay Z - felt confident about the album, and it's potential sales. So Jay Z urged her, and she agreed, to pull a POWER MOVE. She basically told the label - RELEASE IT NOW, no promo.
If the album sells well, you can expect the label to OPEN UP THEIR WALLETS and pay for promo - that means interviews and the like. If it doesn't - we're told that Bey and her people are ALREADY HARD AT WORK with some "spin." We're told if it FLOPS (which doesn't seem likely), they'll just pretend it was only a mixtape - and a way to ORGANICALLY connect with her fans.

I remember hearing something about her record label scrapping her album this past summer. Her PR people have spun this iTune release. The media has made her out to be some sort of shrewed, feminist, business woman with the bright idea of a surprise album release. There is an underlying layer to all of this. I smell a pig. And it ain't wearin' lipstick.

I always take information coming from mediatakeout with a grain of salt cause sometimes they publish lies on their website. However, I do think there is some truth in what you posted. It would be interesting to see in the coming weeks if more information leaks about what happened behind the scenes regarding her album.

I don't take MT seriously either. I used this story to underline my belief that "something" is up regarding her iTune release. The good news for her is, she can add these songs to her 2014 tour. Also, if this album is not a success in the mainstream; she will be the BET Awards darling at the next ceremony.

I believe it, she didn't want the humiliation of little to no promotion because of her holier than thou attitude, so she took the budget money and made videos instead and notice she made videos in the cities she toured in... So killed 2 birds with one stone, she couldn't even afford to film on a whim. Totally pathetic scapegoat artist. I seen the charts and she's not number 1 all over the world on iTunes. Such a sad day for Columbia and parkwood www.apple.com/euro/itunes/charts/top10albums.html

And this is what we all were saying all along. It's so obvious. The album is garbage with not one possible single on it. Of course the label was not gonna support that garbage. So Beyonce and Jay went and made a deal with Itunes. It's so obvious.

All of those pics that were released over the past few months were all snapshots of her videos. Also, she isn't trending as much as I assumed she would with all of the hype from yesterday regarding her iTune release. But the album was only released on yesterday, so there is still time.
I think that she is treating her "art" like a popularity contest. Trying to outdue or compete with the younger, new artists on the scene. In the fickle music world, youth will always prevail. She should create the lane, not try to fit into "their" lane.
Also, there is nothing wrong with Beyonce expressing her sexuality, but at her age, less is more. Talking about raunchy sex with your husband just seems a bit off to me. That's a no-no from married woman 101. She can't sing about it the way RiRi or some of the younger singers can. They are unmarried, child-free, younger and edgier. She should re-frame her sexual image so that it isn't on the level of an oversexed 19 year old trying to break into the industry.
She claims to be an empowered grown woman who runs the world. Surely she can learn how to make her sexy work for her throughout the upcoming years, knowing that what is done at age 22 will look sad at age 32. Better for her to refine her sexy image now than to become the desperate older woman using her sexy body for attention later.

I guess that only lated a couple of hours because she's not even in the TOP TEN in other countries now! When the numbers come in, it's going to be another flop. I think the numbers will be similar to what she did with "4", but no one will cal it a flop because she'll have the excuse of having "no promo", even though debuting it the way she did was the biggest promo ever.

So much truth in this thread. It reeks of desperation. I can smell a lot of bought reviews. It had hardly been 12 hrs and there were already reviews. And the whole #1in blah blah countries thing, we've known for a long time how Beyonce likes to shout fake stats. It's only fooling her fans. I'm not sipping the koolaid here. All these gimmicks. Lable execs know what they are talking about when they say don't do it. Beyonce has just alienated a big section of her fanbase. And sadly it's the section with money thanks to that camel. Jay is just going to ruin her.

I don't believe the lies and the hype, that camel of a husband of hers is ruining her big time. Bey go back to your father please.

Great investing on this..but when I clicked on the link my App cleaner detected a virus. However..I do not trust those other gossip blobs either. December 13, 2013: According to a TOP SNITCH at Sony BMG, Beyonce's late night album release was NOT meant to happen this way at all.
