Apparently, this album is selling very well but looking very closely something is odd. Could it be beyonce had a deal with some company to buy her CDs, something like jay z did, she just never announced it? Is that the reason why she was so confident to release her album with zero promotion? My prediction is there is Scandal that might unfold. Watch

That could be true. The album is supposed to be number one in 100 countries. We STILL don't know which countries though.

The trouble with Beyonce is that you get bombarded with so much drama you don't know what's going on. I'm at the point where I doubt anything will stick, even if there's been scandal attached to this album release.

If I can remember where I saw it I'll post the list of countries where her album is supposedly #1. It's possible that some number-fudging may come out down the line but I don't think it will be a scandal. The stans will just lie about it, the casual fans would ignore it, and the people who are hip to her record company's racket will just say "I knew it". |

She was number one for a few hours, when people checked later after the release, she was nowhere to be seen on the charts. Of course she's fudging numbers. and her pr is in overdrive trying to make it look like she is in high demand. The reason we know it's all smoke and mirrors is that she's not been in demand all year. Her buzz tracks failed to create buzz. pepsi lost money with her campaign. She was being dragged by all sorts of media outlets now all of a sudden we are to believe that everyone's been pining for her all year?

Not to mention, that when she dropped this album, she was not trending in white America. Msn, yahoo, etc. they were talking about it on twitter bc she is now trying to appeal to the younger generation. But if u notice, the older respectable crowd are done with her. I do believe jay bought some of her digital albums behind her back. She too dumb to know the music is not good. Everyone keeps talking about HOW she released the album as opposed to WHAT she released.

The vast majority of the albums sold this week were purchased withing 24 hours. In 24 hour, she sold 450,000 copies of her album, and that was because of the media frenzy surrounding it. By the end of the week, the grand total was 618,000. So you see how much sales slowed down after the first day. This album won't sell much more than 4closure.
