I always believed they were jealous of each other as well. Also don't forget the rumors about Rihanna and Jay z, I think that played a big part of the rivalry that's going on. As far as beyonce she needs to understand that nobody stays on top for ever. Everything in her career has always been forced or rehearse, fake and unoriginal. She might also be jealous because Rihanna got her career on her own, and didn't have to start in a group then go solo.(It's just like that saying when you earn something on your own it mean a whole more, than if someone was to give it to you for free.) that might be why she always working like a dog or slave. She could hate the fact that Rihanna is an islander with a accent. For somebody who wished to be a Latina women. I honestly believe that beyonce started that situation with Rihanna, and the competing with other artist. She was running around shading artist for no reason, like the comments she makes. People don't make album anymore they make singles. Sweetheart singles help get people into the album look at Adele, and Taylor Swift. People will buy the album if it's good enough instead of making a whole bunch of visuals just to sale either. I think that's when Rihanna started firing shots back. I don't know if yall remember when beyonce called Rihanna hopeless, and she wanted jay to stop trying to save her from Chris brown. How she talked bad about the song Cheers saying that it would never be a hit songs then it was. I'm not trying to defend Rihanna but the situation with them started because beyonce wanted to shade other artist.
Rihanna is just like every other young artist that is coming out at the moment. Only time will tell if they are great or not. Beyonce she missed her mark, and that new album is not it. It's more about the visual and less about the music. The both do their part of stunts and foolishness. With Rihanna I don't like the whole instagram, weed smoking and being naked all the time. I just hope she grows out of it. Their is something that Rihanna has that beyonce doesn't have and that's friends in the industry out of the industry. But I do like her music more the Bey. I heard she's going to be working with Madonna and Shakira on her new album. Right now it's just everybody for themselves and money hungry.

I love how you put the insight in perspective, I think you're absolutely right! They do seem to have an unspoken competition going on and I think that hairstyle rihanna wore was a direct jab at beyonce because beysilly has released images in rollers so rih one up'd her and did a wrap. Maybe I'm looking too deep into it. For rihanna to be declared an icon when all bey does is run around and say she's an icon was the powers that be telling her to Sit DOWN AND SHUT UP! It was a slap in bey face, and rihanna obliged, of course, to send that loud message to that self professed icon.

They both r childish. But bey is the ULTIMATE. I have been studying this broad for a year now
1. During b day album, she had some pretty good songs, however, she stole j lo's look. Even Jlo's make up artist (she stole her too...from braids to lace fronts)
2. During ring the alarm performance vmas, she wore trench coat over body suit, Brittany had the same trench coat during her performance at the vmas a few yrs b4
3. During her I am Sasha fierce, she created an alter ego, so she could be bad....like rih rih. Bey even wore a leather dress, that was worn by rih first in a magazine
4. During her 4 album....doesn't that number sound familiar, oh yeah Adele's album 21. She tried an failed to make that album standout
5. Now with this album, she copies rih, with drunk in love. Go to YouTube and look at the comments....every fifth comment someone is saying how she is sounds and moves like her. On flawless song/vid, she copied Ciara, with the plaid shirt and shorts. PROOF of all this is on YouTube, see for yourself

Somebody pointed out the same thing to me a few years ago and that was how I started to catch on to the fakery. I don't think Rhianna is be jealous of Beysic's career, I think she's too busy trying to maximize her 15 minutes of fame. Due to her purported success and her image I could see Beysic being jealous of her, though. She doesn't really try to hide her vices and she seems to have a more genuine connection with her fanbase. She sings like a sodomized goat but it seems like she's able to get a higher caliber of songs and producers than Bey...and she doesn't lie about writing songwriting or production credits. Aside from some issues with David La Chappelle and biting some Grace Jones stuff for the 'Rude Boi' video she doesn't seem to be overly "inspired" by others' work the way that Bey is. If I looked at the numbers for her non-music promotions (clothing, makeup, toiletries) I'd probably see that they sell better than the stuff from Bey's side hustles. As someone who put a lot of effort into projecting a highly sanitized image for most of her career Bey may resent someone like Rihanna being as popular as she is. |

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts on this thread! I quite agree with most of what was said so far.
True she copies soooo much. This is ridiculous. Instead of creating her own style, she is simply swaggerjacking. Now I don't see anything wrong with that except when you take credit for something you haven't created. You can't be legendary when you're just copying. In my opinion Rihanna is fake as hell but still has more authenticity than Beyonce, and artistically, isn't trying to pretend she can do it all. While Beyonce would do ANYTHING to be seen as an innovator, great songwriter, producer, choregrapher, singer, etc... I'm sure if she could her PR team would print articles about her creating Wall Street and a cure for Aids. LOL. She seems to have a problem with giving credit where it's due (hence why all these lawsuits thrown in her head). She wants MJ's career and success so badly, yet doesn't have the talent to back it up.
Indeed Rihanna and Beyonce are two industry whores (there are rumours about them sleeping with various people in the industry but I haven't looked into that yet) and fame whores, it's just that Bey tries so hard to play the Virgin Mary for the cameras. She's no better than anybody. Even the bad girl image Rihanna has is also fake, it's more believable than Beyonce's fake perfect image.

Chileeee!! U are so right!!! She failed tryin to see Adele, lmao! That was a major flop! She finally realizes that white America has not embraced her, make product for the queens and punks, beydummy! This poor child has not ever came up with her own identity, I think she doesn't have one, even her laugh is fake. I thibk she's a so up path that lacks emotion
