You all remember when Michelle Obama said Beyonce was a great role model for girls. Now that Beysnooze has released this awful new album full of hoodrat anthems with 80% "sex sells" formula does she still thinks she is a role model, really? Shame on her for co-signing this chick.

Actually, I think there's a bond there that we don't know about. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mrs Obama turns up at another concert or sends another tweet. I don't know if it will be about this album.....she'd probably be advised against that. But, sometimes people from different backgrounds can get on like that.
There’s also not that much that has changed with Beyonce since Michelle called her a role modal for girls. She was still selling sex then and other known issues.

I swear they pay for these compliments. Unless Michelle is one of those secretly low s elf esteem having women who want to be BEyonce. But she does not come across like that. but then again, good clothes hide a lot of bad things.

The "admiration" is on-going, I imagine, as Michelle reportedly attended one of her concerts with her daughters, very recently. Like in New York or Chicago. As someone said above, if Michelle can go to bat for Beyoncé given what Beyoncé's brought to the cultural table all these years, this current stunt and trifling material won't change anything. Michelle's certainly not going to publicly retract or backtrack on anything she's said about Beyoncé. She would be right to decry her for the pollution she adds to our atmosphere - specifically the extremely shallow and patriarchy-supporting example she sets for women and girls - but it would make her look like a hypocrite/hater and her capacity to draw controversy should remain as low as possible while she's still First Lady. Objecting to Beyoncé and all her fake, pea-brained, poisonous crap would be too radical. If Michelle's bothered or doesn't really like her, she'll probably just refrain from commenting again publicly or lie and continue to give her praise.

I've noticed that they've sort of pushed Beyonce out in favor of Janelle Monae. She did two Christmas performances for the Obamas this year, plus she was the entertainment for the after party at the White House for the inauguration. Beyonce just had a concert in D.C. the other night and Michelle Obama was not there. Every time Beyonce has performed in D.C. they always report on Michelle Obama being there. Well, this time she wasn't.
I think the Obamas were done with them after the inauguration to begin with, but the Carters really made it even worse for themselves when they went to Cuba and tried to act like they had personal approval from the president to travel there.

I don't know what to make of how Michelle sees Beyonce. I'm inclined to think she was only playing nice because Barry told her to. Her being nasty to thirsty women is well documented and Beyonce was doing the most and super parched for a presidential ride if you get my drift.

I'm thinkin....beyonce and michelle was gettin it in. Altho she probably lewensky'd Obama, after all a mouth is a mouth...bey was probably a gift for michelle.
