I think in past times, her hard copy sales are lackluster and collect dust on shelves, that's why she did this exclusive drop to save face m.billboard.com/entry/view/id/76551Yor thoughts?'

The industry is not gonna go for the little stunk she pulled. I read on another board that radio is upset about it as well because there really is no single for them to push since it was all released at once.. This is no "game changer", this was simply a stunt pulled by a fading artist who desperately needed great first week sales in order to save her career. MJ's Thriller was an industry game changer. It wasn't a "stunt", it was simply making an incredible album and shooting incredible videos for it. This is why the industry rallied beyond Thriller. But people are not rallying behind Beyonce because this was not about changing the industry, it was about screwing the industry and pulling a stunt.
Her new videos are getting crushed by Rihanna and Eminem's video that was released on the same day. People are simply not interested in her. And like I said, when the dust settles, this album will have flop sales just like 4flop.

The stans got all excited for nothing....it was impressive to sell that many when first released, but what they don't realize is.........that's pretty much IT.

There most likely won't be any top ten hits from this album either. Also sales will stall. Especially since Amazon and Taret are not even selling her shit. Lol Like do her beytarded insects not realize Bey's video views cant keep up with Rihanna's video views? And they were released the same day. *sips tea* To not even sell 1,000,000 in America your first week is pretty pathetic. Plenty of non self professed kings and queens have done it in the USA, why hasn't the king/queen herself? Beydunce loses again

The more distance outlets such as Target and Amazon can get from major labels the better. I read somewhere that Amazon has the power to bring the major s to their knees with one decision. Apparently, they do not allow individuals to sell digital music because the labels are fighting hard against this and have threatened to pull their artists off Amazon should this happen. And with Amazon being such a big platform and the increasing popularity in digital music, it is believed this could be the final thing to eradicate the need for the middle man. So at the moment you can only sell your digital music on Amazon if you are a label or have a figure that is around the hundreds on your roaster. In case you’re wondering, iTunes claim to allow direct sales from artists but the reality is the application process rarely allows for it.

And the hits just keep on coming. Watch how the stans are gonna use this as the excuse for when it flops but right now they are talking about B don't need target or Amazon. Who go they think she is? No singer today is above the machine. Industry's got that ish on lock down.
