Umm.. I live in Houston, now I gotta tell you all. I am not Happy about him boxing us up in one package, but u know what, as I type this post, I am thinking maybe he was speaking of that RATCHET click..Either way, lemme just say that there are many REAL WOMEN in Houston who most definitely keep their children's hair done. I am one of them. I have 3 girls..Girls gotta stay fly, at least my 3 do. There is nothing worse than seeing a Mom with her hair, make-up, and clothes ALWAYS on point and her child sitting by her looking like he/she just woke up ALL THE DAMN TIME. THAT ain't hot!!
So Beyonce is out here repping the Hoodrats? She should be sending them messages about how to be somebody, and leave the dope boys/ club promoters alone. If she cared.I see so many women trying to be like her, the ones who try but just can't afford the look or think they got it but DON'T and you better not tell em nothin. It's just sad.
But all in all though, this person is telling the truth, Beyonce IS basic, I am glad that she knows though, that's how I know she didn't write that Gender Equality mess. She jacked up that Oprah interview, and Oprah was asking some basic ass questions. If Beyonce is so focused and determined, Why cant she stop with all the porno, take a break and go get an education. Do something! Why wont camel face, tell his wife to get an education so she can get out here and use her star power ti actually make a difference. Instead of being the leader of the RATCHET CLICKE.
I used the word hoodrat in my post, i am by no means putting anyone from or in the hood down at all. Everyone in the hood is not a hoodrat, i would know, being brought up in the hood myself.

Interesting read. I do take issue with the way it was delivered. The writer couldn't seem to decide if she wanted to straight talk or kiss bey's ass a little. She didn't have to drag her but she could have been more direct with what shewanted to say, in my opnion, this makes the piece a little dull as in, not so strong or convincing. The way she's written it, she could have simmered it down to a tweet. If she had taken a more direct stance on which ever side she wanted to choose then it would probably have been a better piece.
And I can't stand it when people need towrite a disclaimer like they can't handle the consequences of speaking their mind. If you can't handle the "hive" then why bother speaking you're just gonna double back on your words anyway.

I don't care enough if they're gonna start with kissing ass. No offence to the original poster Ladytay!

I agree that when you strip away all the media hype and stanning Beysic isn't really much to write home about. I also agree that her appeal to some people is what they project onto her career and what they cherry-pick from image (working mom, feminist,"safe" black person who's not really black, etc). Where this falls apart for me is 1)implication that the "hardwork and dedication" that has taken her "to the next level" is primarily her own and 2)her "hard work" and level of success should make exempt her from derision or having "haters".
I don't deny that what Bey does takes a lot of work behind the scenes but I know that when it comes to her ACTUAL contributions the emperor is naked, so to speak. It's hard trying to recreate other people's work detail for detail, but she and her crew wouldn't have to do that if they put more effort into original work. It's hard to strongarm writing/production credits from other people in the industry and do a good job of keeping it under wraps but, again, if there was more original work there would be less of a struggle. I disagree with the implication that her work ethic has earner her success. Her greed and drive for fame only earned her success because it's coupled with other people's hard work. It seems to me that the woman who wrote this kind of buys into the self-made Superwoman hype but no person is an island, especially one who lies and steals as much as Beysic does.
"And who hates hard workers anyway"? Hard worker or not, there's not a single person on this planet who's beyond reproach. Not all hard work is good work and just something may have taken a lot of effort to produce it doesn't mean that other people have to like or accept the fruits of that labor. For me the work ethic thing is a huge sticking point when it comes to Beysic because it's one of the top 3 things fans and stans say when they want to try to silence other people (the other two things they bring up are her supposed wealth/riches and the questionable stats that 'prove' she's a good artist). Rhianna put out 7 or 8 albums in about 8 years, which I'm sure takes hard work. Most of Beysic's stans aren't trying to hear it, though. Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys are actual musicians in addition to being singers - does the work they put into their music not matter? Janet co-writes most of her songs (REAL writng, not Beysic-style "writing") and simplest dance routines are still more intricate than anything Beysic has ever tried to do but for people who don't like JJ her hard work doesn't matter. If I wanted to talk about guys and not just female artists I could talk about Bruno Mars and all the work he puts into his shows. All of the people I've mentioned and countless others could be considered hard workers but to the stans and other delusional people their work doesn't measure up to what Beysic 'does' and that's why she should be untouchable. It's ridiculous.

It's not "hard work" when it comes easy for you....Beyoncce and many other stars don't work hard, they just work like any ordinary person, the difference is that these stars are "lucky" to have a job that pays millions...Dancing is easy, writing is easy, if you have talent in that area.Lucky is what these stars are,it's like winning the lotto lucky....imo

It's ridiculous. And let the church say amen!!! Them stans make it seem as if BEyonce is the only one who works in the industry. I doubt she even works the hardest, same routines every damn time. Same booty poppin. Pink did that aerial silk thing, it must have taken a month at least of constant practise for her to be able to do that like she did. But Beyonce's giving you the same booty popping she's been doing since Bush was in office.
