Whoa! This is from 2009, allegedly the raw board feed (what the microphone records when singers are signing over their tracks) when Beyonce performed on GMA and I have to say I wasn't expecting this!!!: And this is how sounded when they show aired: she starts "singing" at 2.20ish

To be fair some folks think that her voice was distorted digitally, But I'm not sure. Many artists lip sync, or sing over pre-recorded tracks and have the sound guys/gals mute their real vocals so the performance comes out as perfect as possible (records companies are investing millions and have too much on the line to leave things to chance) In cases where people are singing over tracks they aren't as focused on their real vocals (since nobody is supposed to hear them anyway) and are focused on their performance. Here's Howard Stern and the gangs take on it along with a little raw board feed from a Enrique Iglesias:

I thought that was fake. That sounds doctored to me, there's now way she actually that bad. I remember seeing some video of her singing halo with acoustic music to a group of people in some sort of home or hospital ward. She actually sounded much better than the over the top nonsense she puts on her albums.

That's fake. I can't stand Beyonce, but she can sing. She's not my fav, but I give her that. Sometimes her voice is a little harsh, and she doesn't sing her songs in a way that really gives them justice.
