You KNOW Radio Play is Brought & Paid For When....

Yeah, I stick to my mp3 player also, only bombarded with what I like, when I want to hear it. They know that a constant rotation of any song is key. But it's still crazy though, I mean even if DIL was a great song, a huge percent of the album is still trash, so basically she's riding off that one single really hard. She should've just put out the single, cuz really, that's all she has. She tried to throw a lil shade on her flopumentary, talkin' 'bout how so many artist only put out singles, and that no one can put out full albums anymore and they constantly have to to continue to work so hard with endless promotion of all their singles, basically saying that in her genre of music, that she's the only one doing the work. Well let's fast forward to this mess she has now, an album full of porn, being carried by two tired songs, DIL and Partition. Looks like that lil shade she threw has covered her as well.

Well I am here in Houston,TX... so can y'all imagine all the brown nosing all the DJ's are doing, and on top of that, I hear this song DIL every time I get in my car, going to my destination, and on the way back, and if it's a long trip, I hear either DIL or PARTITION at least 3 times. And the radio, DJ's here keep her songs on HEAVY rotation, Beyonce does no wrong here. Just look up 97.9 the box, Houston. Search something on Beyonce and read the comments. It's nauseating. Really, the sad part is that Beyonce does absolutely NOTHING for any of the girls here who wants to God forbid, "Be like her". I mentioned before that they wanted to do a statue of her, well I forgot what happened with that, but I'm assuming all that fell through, THANK GOD...I was thinking the other day that the guy she was so in love with, I forget his name, but he was her first love, y'all know him..I really believe he dodged a bullett. He May have still been heart broken, but I feel like after seeing that Grammy performance, I believe that he's realized what bullet that he's dodged. I am sorry everybody, but I find myself on these rants, cuz, I know who Beyonce was before Jay z got to her. She learned of this xtra ish, sole her soul and just lost her mind. Did y'all know that when she went solo, she told told the remaining DIL crew; Kelly and Michelle that they couldn't use the DC name anymore. Do y'all understand that Kelly and michelle could have lived off the DC name, it was a decent brand. They could have been set for life!? But she thought that they would maybe get bigger than her, that damn jealousy, she had to have it all. Boy when Beyonce /queen B crashes it's gonna be EPIC!! And it's only a matter of time!!

Please forgive my rant, and I hope I didn't stray to far off the topic of this persons thread!

Oh no....The good news is this too shall pass! We all know she doesn't make the kinds of music that can stand the test of time no matter what DJ's are paid to day 

Good to meet a fellow Houstonian too! Same here- I only listen to radio when I forget my mp3 player.  I also enjoy some programming on 90.9 KTSU (jazz, reggae, zydeco, and old school r n b) as well as 90.1 KPFT (S.O.S. Radio, on wednesday afternoons- world, conscious hip hop, acid jazz, neo soul)- check it out sometimes!

P.S. An eternal break from Beyonce' noise is music to my ears (pun intended), lol!!!
