This is like the 3rd interview I've seen of here where she brushes off and becomes visibly annoyed with questions regarding Beyonce using her Ted Talk on the piece of crap song "Flawless".
She must be disgusted that her serious feminist work is now being associated with a known whore who can't even speak properly.
Listen to how she responds @3:20

I guess this is a case of action speak louder than words... silence is golden. I would be fuming too. she's a better woman than I, I would have let Beywhorece have it for tarnishing my legacy.

Ya, know, I truly understand and am all for taking the high road....BUT, I believe it's just time for someone to call Beyonce out for what she is..A THIEF, among other things. True artists don't have to steal, she has nothing of her own. No ideas, she surely hasn't blazed any trails for anyone and is in no way a role model. Like Sting said, (in my own summary) he said, pop artists (like her) are commercial, in it for the money and all about self, he didn't bite his tougue or retract his statement, because he has nothing to loose. The other day Seth Rogan said during an interview with Andy Cohen I think, he was asked what he thought of Justin Bieber and his latest antics, Seth straight up said that Justin Bieber is "a piece of shit." He said it twice, he didn't go home and retract his statement on twitter either when Justins' "beliebers " tried to drag him. This is what Beyonce needs. Why has every celeb tiptoed around Beyonces antics, even the ones she's actually stole from, they either say nothing, do nothing, retract statements (Kerri Hilson ) or put it up on the cool, just enough so that if someone catches it, they can deny (Cierra). Does she have that much pull in the industry? Will careers end if anyone speaks?

The Elite protect her and Jay-zoo because the Carters are being used to destroy the black community. Once the Elite choose other black people, the Cartel will be tossed aside, or worse.

Hello everyone! Thanks for the post, I wondered how Ms. Adichi felt about her speech being utilized in such a schizophrenic train wreck. I looked up the lyrics (I cannot stand to watch or listen to the video- I could only get through twenty seconds but had to stop upon feeling the pain of dying brain cells, lol!) and was appalled that there was no backlash for the 3rd verse: You wake up, flawless Post up, flawless Ridin' round in it, flawless Flossin' on that, flawless This diamond, flawless My diamond, flawless This rock, flawless My Roc, flawless I woke up like this, I woke up like this We flawless, ladies tell 'em I woke up like this, I woke up like this We flawless, ladies tell 'em Say "I look so good tonight" God damn, God damnSay "I look so good tonight" God damn, God damn, God damn!Momma taught me good home training My Daddy taught me how to love my haters My sister taught me I should speak my mind My man made me feel so God damn fine (I'm flawless!) Whats up with the G-D word? I personally have a potty mouth (when appropriate), but this is one word I don't play with. I am surprised no one has called her out on this. Wow

Ok, so I checked out those lyrics in their entirety....I'm confused. First its bow down b**ches, "I know when you were little girls You dreamt of being in my world". Then she goes on to say how flawless all her rocks/diamonds, her car, bragging, then inserted a lil part in the chorus for the ladies, so as not for anyone to say that this is another narcissistic song all about her. Then comes Ms Adichi's speech. I mean someone please correct me if i am wrong, but none of this mess ties together...AT ALL!

Girl, she put that Bow Down catastrophe out originally without Chimamanda Ngozi Adiiche on it and got dragged for being too egotistical! So I think thats why she tried to balance out the track with some wise words, but clearly what she's, Bottom B, about and what Chimamanda Ngozi Adiiche is about are 2 totally different things so the song just ends up sounding schizophrenic...smh....

I saw the video. Based off the way Chimamanda carries herself, there's no way she consigned this nonsense. I can't see her wearing a thong in the name of feminism. There were only about 4 women in the video. Beyonce is screwing Chimamanda's work up. Who can honestly and proudly say Beyonce put me on the map? Now she has to fight off the notion that Beyonce "made" her. So shameful.

For her name and her WORK to be associated with Beyonce is truly a travesty. And I feel sorry for her. You can tell she's a woman of real class and intelligence. And for her to have to be asked about Beyonce, with people thinking she should be grateful or flattered, is really messed up. I think she handles it with such class though. She simply won't talk about her. That's actually better than her calling out Beyonce. Because the fact is, whether you say something good or bad, if you give any opinion on Beyonce, she becomes the story and you get put on the back burner. I think she's handling the tacky questions, by these reporters who stan for Beyonce, really well.

Wow My goodness those lyrics are trash. This just makes it even more believable that the best writers no longer write for her. Since when is profanity and using the Lord's name in vain in every second line, considered good music? Proves just how low she has stooped. I can never forget the video of little Christian Beyonce telling people to be serious about their prayers. And telling people to slap her if they ever see her with a stank attitude. I feel very sad for that little girl.

Y'all should look on you tube, there's a vid tilted "tears for Beyonce " it's an hr long, but it's worth the watch. REALLY though i watch it. It touched on alot of things, but also spotlights on what's going on with Beyonce. It's really sad how this girl got caught up with this madness. He'll tell u though that his prayers really go out to her. No bashing, but what she's doing appears to be from someone who got lost. We as Christians must hate the sin but not the sinner. It really reminded me that she really don't know what she's doing any longer, she's just Satan's puppet. But sadly when he's done with her she's finished. And thats where our prayers come in. It's just that she does so much stupid ish that it's so easy to say It's her, when it's really not. She has no more ctrl over herself. It's really sad...I hope some of you all May be able to watch this vid. He breaks her down, with all her nonsense, on a Biblical level....ijs
Peace.

Although Beyonce's antics are infruriating in themselves, I realize that she is no longer in control and her strings are being pulled by puppet masters to advance their evil agenda. It really is very sad. May God save her soul.

The lyrics to that song make me laugh; it Nicki Minaj had did a song like this (because this seems to be written in the same vain), she'd be dragged. Hell, had she did the original version, she'd been dragged. It's funny b/c people truly don't see how she's commodified feminism and it's moved beyond what it was before.

I've got a little time on my hands so I'm going to watch it now. You are so correct when you say love the sinner, but hate the sin. I try to pray for myself and all who are captured in bondage and are doing things which are not for the glory of the Lord. I'm hoping to get something out of this video that will help me understand if Beyonce is aware of what she's doing or is she just under total control. I also feel that Jay is a huge influence and handler when it comes to her. I feel he's more aware of what's going on. Just like he was touring right along side of Beyonce. I think it was more than just a husband wanting to be with his wife. I think he is one of those who are in charge of pulling Beyonce's puppet strings. So far he's gotten rid of Mathew, Tina and I believe he's pushed Solange aside too. Beyonce has an entorage but it looks like he's taken the liberty in choosing who Bey is allowed to be surrounded by, which looks like his friends right down to Julius, her bodyguard, whom was hand picked by Jay.

I know that this is an older thread but, I had to comment on this. You are absolutely correct. Personally, I cannot stand Beyonce'. I dislike everything that she stands for. I cannot stand this pseudo-feminist movement she calls herself supporting, I cannot stand the hypocrisy, the arrogance, the entitled attitude, the deceit, the lip-syncing, the plagiarism, the blonde hair, the false image of beauty she represents...need I say more? I cringe when I hear her music. Whenever I see her on the television, I immediately turn the channel. I am extremely annoyed by this woman. I used to love this woman...once upon a time. I was not able to see past her b.s. at first but now, she is transparent. Although, she does give many a reason to dislike her, I feel guilty for it. I am a Christian and I am judging this woman. Beyonce' is aware of people like me. I am typing negative things about her on blogs. I constantly check out websites such as destinysrehab just for a cheap laugh (you all are funny though). This woman is going through some issues. I am not sure if it has to do with her debts, her constant legal troubles, her family and friends, her struggle to compete with the likes of Rihanna or even drug abuse, mental abuse or physical abuse. I am not sure but, it is evident that she is in need of prayer. Yes, she has free will and she is/was able to get out of the industry. I am not sure what is going on with her now but something is not right. Beyonce' really gets on my nerves, but I have to remember to love everyone. We are required by God to love everyone, whether they are good or bad. I don't believe, I know that she is lost. You can see it in her eyes. It's like her spirit is empty. Honestly, I am starting to feel bad for Beyonce'. Just like Missy said, you hate the sin not the sinner. Thanks Missy, I am going to watch that video.
