Another one bites the dust...
For all y'all who don't know, CL was a site very much like Rhymes With Snitch, but better. If you go to the homepage you see the statement that it's closed now....they didn't even save the archives and I find that kinda strange...
The reason I posted this in Beyoncé is because - and I could be reaching - I wonder if the knowles/carter crew were behind it.
Back in the day, CL was another Lipstick Alley in regards to Bey. All you saw was butt kissing and people used to speculate that the site was brought and paid for by the Knowles and them. That was a straight STAN SITE. I stopped logging on years ago, because of it.
Over the years, most of the comments have become hatred towards Beyonce.
I just find it so strange that you can't even go back and archive old stories. Correct me if I'm wrong but MOST bloggers leave their work up and let people peruse the archives, especially when you have such a large body of work...... They just don't post any new stories or allow comments....Could it be that they are trying to once again remove negativity about Bey? Or maybe since nobody has anything good to say about Bey, the blogger no longer profits from the Knowles payout so she just said fuck it...

That was the first black blog I found. Their slogan changed to Quality, Not Quantity because people complained about the lack of/slow posts. I moved on because she took too long to add stuff.

I too used to read Concrete Loop, but then the Beyawnce ass kissing got too much for me (especially from one of the bloggers named Brian. He was extra with it). I just couldn't take it, so I stopped reading YEARS ago. It's sad because this was one of the first black pop culture websites/blogs I began reading and now it's gone. I wouldn't be surprised if the Knowles/Carters had something to do with it being gone now. Oh well. Good luck and much success to its founder Angel Laws!

Off topic,but what do you guys think of that pic on MTO of Beyoncce in the Airport trying to get Blue from her Dad and Blue started to throw a tantrum.Blues face is pictured scrunched and crying out...I mentioned a while back that I think Blue gives her Mom a hard time especially with allowing Beyoncce to brush her hair.

OR pics I think Beyonce is just not connected to her daughter whereas Jay Z is (or at least seems genuinely happy to around her), regardless if the baby throws a tantrum as a woman she need to still take care of her. Beyonce is wearing expensive clothes, weaves (MTO just did a story about that too) but can't comb her baby's hair before going in public or the paps !  Here's the link |

I think Blue knows who loves her more. Beyonce probably tried to grab her when she saw that paps were snapping shots and she wanted to get one in looking mothering and all. I'm just speculating of course. I don'tr doubt that Beyonce is a poor mother, she does all that hoodrat stuff taking naked pics with the baby right there. Having the baby in inappropriate situations. thinking it's okay for the baby to sing explicit lyrics because she "doesn't know what she is saying" (so stupid). Just because she seems to have a lot of money, short sighted people want to overlook the poor parenting. I also notice Blue's nose is starting to go the Jay Z way. she looks just like a younger Jay Z. I'm way off topic now, but the train of thought just keeps on. I'm wondering, Jay and B "have money" right, Beyonce was using a surrogate anywany, why didn't they just make sure their kid was a boy? Blue would have made an adorable boy, and she wouldn't be ragged on as much for looking like her dad. It's an option they could afford. |

I had been reading this blog for years and to be fair the only reason I continued to visit is because of a poster named, JUDAH. Didn't agree with everything he said, but none-the-less, a lot of what he said was thought provoking. And sometimes even the poster named, Richard would also give us food for thought.
