my guesses:
1. Jay is getting reckless about how he puts his hands on her.
2. Someone else put their hands on her like that.
3. Blue ivy was trying to get away from her.
4. she's allergic to something (maybe she wore a cross and it burned)

That's from around the time when Yaki and Bullwinkle went to Cuba, right? Maybe Solange tried to cut her for copying her Patra braids again.
I might have thought it was Jay but the marks look like shallow cuts that bruised and not regular bruising or a rash. I can believe that he's an abuser but he doesn't strike me as the type to use a knife. Maybe she did it to herself? It could have been her own stupidity (like trying to wear one of Blue's belts as a necklace) or maybe it was a suicide attempt (<-- rumors about this pop up every so often).
