Here's a picture of Blue Ivy sporting what appears to be a combed and thoughtful hairstyle. Finally. I don't know who eventually got it into Duncé's head that it's not okay for her to be walking around with her horse hair brushed and her baby looking like she slept with her head in a tumble drier. She looks taken care and well kept of here, which is all we ask. I remember when Rihanna was asked if she had seen Blue Ivy yet and she cracked up saying.. "She's Jay'z twin, it's hilarious." I wonder if that was some side shade.

I didn't mind her hair before. Afro hair doesn't grow out perfectly round like the Jackson 5. It does whatever it likes. I hope it isn't pulled back too tight or she'll end up with a receding hair line.

I think Blue is a cute child. I don't think anything bad would happen to Blue's hair if they combed it out and kept it moisturized. Blue's got parents that are able to get her hair products that are out of this world. She's not your average child. She's got a solid gold rocking horse, for goodness sakes and her mama buys a very small jar of diamond facial creme for $500.00 a pop! I'm not saying her little fro looks that bad. It just looks dry as hell, which is what really can cause damage. When we see Bey's hair looking dry, we have to remember...it's not Bey's real hair, it's a wig. But under her lace wigs her hair is probably not that dry. All these people worrying about Blue's edges, need to stop! The only rich person I know with F'd up edges is Naomi Campbell and that's probably due to wearing wigs all the time and having someone uneducated about black hair, doing her hair while she modeled. Models go through a lot with their hair.

I'm all about healthy hair.... I not as concerned with Blue hair's style but more concerned about her hair always looking so dry and unattended to which is not good for our hair at all! Blue looks cute, Although...the cheetah print vest has me a little worried (Mk ultra)...

I'd probably say the nanny or Jay did something with Blue's hair (I don't see Bey caring about anyone's hair but her own). It's a cute little bun

Hadn't commented here in a while. Hope everyone is doing well! I was taken aback by this hairstyle since it's never done, but what I am really starting to realize is my brother's hair at BI's age was longer than what she has now. I would think it'd be lengthier. Hell, come to think of it, my sisters had longer hair than that. They should really start doing more with her hair. It's funny people want to justify this as being "natural" but let an adult walk around like this (such as her aunt Solange) it'd be hell to pay. Folks ain't on that natural tip like they claim...

So true. Just like I can tell when a professional is doing someone's dread locks opposed to someone growing them and doing them themselves. There is a difference. There are naturals that when you look at their hair, you can see the love they put into their natural hair. And then there's someone like Blue's hair that just looks unkempt. I know I can't be the only one who can tell the difference. There are so many hypocrites out there. If I had a little girl, Blue's age and her hair looked like Blue's hair. People would talk bad about me. Probably even call me, Ghetto. I probably wouldn't get half the support and excuses that these people give Bey. And that's just other people whose opinions should mean nothing, But Lord only knows what my family and close friends would tell me. They'd probably make me cry and send me off into a deep depression. LOOL! A little moisturizer and a comb out to Blue's hair would do wonders and would probably help define her little curls. But instead of doing that, either because they're too lazy or too busy (rolls eyes)... Bey and company throw huge hats and headband's on her head, like that's going to make things better.

I think the bigger question is where the hell is Tina? Is she not a hair dresser? Of all the pictures of Beyonce when she was a child and before the weaves, she had long pretty thick hair. Blue will be bald by 6. Slapping a rubberband around some hair ain't combing...

You are spot on, itsawonderfulworld, (I really like your name, it is true!) I live about 40 miles from Philadelphia, and I travel on a trolley thru the inner city to get to work, I stopped driving two years ago, I see some hot messes, ROTFLMAO! Some not all, looked out of bed and are copying Blue's hairstyle. Back in the day, our Afro's were well groomed, we had nice products and took pride in our hair. Now I see some smashed on the side and back like they forgot to pick all the hair out. Don't let me start on the weird colors, and I might add some of the worst offenders are adult women. When some of these mash ups sit in front of me, I feel like taking out an afro pick and tightening up these Buckwheat, hair in the air, oh I stuck my finger in an electric socket, do's! Other times I put my shades on, and close my eyes and enjoy the ride. Belly laughs!!!!
