It spawns multiple parodies.
I've rarely or never seen great music parodied. Weird Al doesn't count, that's what he does for a living. He parodied some of MJ's stuff but that parodying stemmed from how good the music was....people parody Beys music because it's garbage.
No one takes that shit seriously.

I was thinking that, lol! Why is everyone parody-ing this? I wonder if they're doing it b/c they like it or just think the song is stupid? I'm leaning toward the latter b/c there's not way it's b/c they like it!

I was also wondering about the parodies. Rihanna, Mariah,Pink and even Whitney have parodies of their songs. But no where near as many as Beyonce. Also a lot of Beyonce's parodies are meant to make her and humps look like fools (drunken love) whereas other musician's parodies are just funny as hell. Beyonce also has more varied parodies, as in a lot of her songs aer parodied as compared to other singers where it's just 1 or 2 specific songs. I did a quick search. The only other singer with as many varied parodies as Beyonce is Gaga, which is sad for Beyonce.

I believe all of these parodies of Beyonce are because people are just plain tired of her. She's everywhere. There's no escaping her in our daily lives. It's hard to tune her out when she's on a TV commercial. When you're shopping in a store and her music is playing, or there's a poster of her in the store. When you listen to your car radio and DIL comes on 10 times before you reach your destination. And when you change the radio station...she's there, too. Everyone not a "hater", but people get tired of the Beyonce overload that they can't escape from. And you can forget about it if you enjoy going on the internet. You can visit sites that aren't geared to "entertainment" or "celebrity gossip" and still run across a few Bey articles.
Bey has put herself out there so much that there's no more magic about her. All the oohs and aahs have become..."Yeah, we've seen it already"...*Yawn*...Yeah, yeah, Queen Bey...blah, blah, blah! And people start to see her for who and what she really is. So they make fun of her, leaving her to be a perfect target for this kind of thing. She's the one who wants all the attention on her, so here it is. It's not a mistake that every parody I've seen about her somehow reduces her "Queenly" status. They make her look dumb, desperate, and a silly try hard. And with this new album, there have been many drag queens mimicking her and outdoing her at the same time. Making her "hard work" look easy and cheesy.

Very true!!! When she dropped Single Ladies people posted alot of videos in the leotards doing the choreography BUT this is very different, this album is a joke and everyone (besides her stans) is laughing...
