You guys know how if not all, most celebrities have something that will follow them for the rest of their lives/legacies. For example, Chris Brown has the whole thing with Rihanna, that will follow him for forever. Same with Ike Turner, it's still following his ass in death. MJ has the whole sex scandal it has been following his ass almost 20 years and in death, Whitney got the whole taking drugs, R. Kelly got the whole having sex with young girls, Britney got the whole break down, etc etc. I've always wondered what will be Beyonce's be? Not every celeb has one, but I mean it would be GOLD to me if she does have one because, everyone thinks she's the second coming of Jesus. Out of curiousty, what would do you guys think hers will be, if she ever has one? Or do you guys think she would slowly, but surely she'll just become nothing no one cares about anymore even though it is already like that with her stans and people who are just typical fans.

Honestly, she's neither big enough nor interesting enough to have a scandalous downfall. She's a not an icon and she's a bore. I think we're already seeing how it will end for her. It'll just be people getting tired of her and tuning her out. And for a narcissist like Beyonce, that's worse than any scandal. There's nothing worse for a narcissist than being ignored because it means people don't even think you matter. People will just stop buying her stuff and she'll stop having hits and she'll stop getting endorsements and magazine covers. It's happening right now actually.

And the DC4 fallout to a lesser extent.

Kels99 said it best. Most likely nothing. But at most it will probably be her being the first human in history to have a 5month+ pregnant belly collapse/bend/fold on live tv. Lololololol & also her being the first singer to LIP SYNCH the National Anthem @ the Presidential Inauguration. But ya she's simply not memorable in any aspect. Not even as a trainwreck. She will just fade away. That is a great profile pic!

I know this is an older thread, but this is more and more true, this woman is known or only negative things; theft, fakeness, transparency, lying, narcissism, sociopathological behavior. Those last two are the icing on the cake really, cuz that combination is sad. I mean these types of people don't even know they are over or done. This woman REALLY needs prayers. If you notice, her mother has let go, her people will just watch as she fade away, getting their coins till the wheels fall of that train, although she's willing to hold on for dear life, cuz she needs this fame. I have never seen this level of narcissistic sociopathic behavior EVER! If this woman falls from the spotlight, that would be the death of her. She believes she's royalty. Royals can't live among commoners. Look out y'all, this lil Texan has slot of things to reap for all that she's helped to sow, look at her dad, owing the IRS, strung out harder, broke. Just imagine what's in it for his daughter. ALL things come to a head, we are slowly watching a demise, she said a few yrs back that she was close to a breakdown. Well, she's back on the edge. With no one to blame but herself.

Old thread but I agree with those that said she will silently fade away. No one cares enough and she's not a huge star despite all the hype surrounding her. DC was not some legendary group, the group thrived on controversy with the members. The music isn't really memorable, nothing like Waterfalls, Creep, What's it gonna be, Hold on or any of the iconic girl groups. Beytard has a mediocre catalog and has yet to do anything groundbreaking, nothing but stealing and imitation paired with terrible diction & elementary lyrics.
She will not be taken down like MJ with his molestation scandals, like the blacklisted Janet from nipplegate, or any other high profile celeb. Nobody cares. As you can see nobody is buying her music even now. I still believe she'll be clocked soon with those supposed Itunes digital sales. How is it that she has the #5 best selling digital album yet is missing from the best selling albums of the decade? Everybody else that's on the best selling digital albums are also on the decade (2010+) list. Those sales are suspicious, though they are not high or anything I still think they're were faked for hype and to save face.
Her next album will flop, her last 2 did but she had an alibi for both. There is no alibi for the next one, she's either taken a long break or is trying to figure out her next gimmick to sell.

I think it has already started. Her brand is already tarnished. Visit any mainstream media site and look at the comments. in her case, It isn't one thing it is sooo many things that have added up that have made people utterly detest her. It is the combo of -her arrogance (which ties to her lying about songs, pregnancy and the arrogance that she would get away with it) - delusions of grandeur and class (again, goes back to arrogance well narcissim)
Beyonce is actually done. She failed to reinvent herself this time around and solidified her lack of creativity and depth as an 'artist'. They are already backing up and mainly praising her for 'peforming' as that is what she is, a performer and for me the little I saw of the VMA's was not noteworthy at all.
She is not nearly as wealthy as her brand dictated she be sold as and I think her and Jay are headed for a huge fall, and I think it will be equally as devastating for Jay and he is very wrapped up in appearances and what people think. They may prefer death than to fall publicly.

There is nothing to discuss, she is mediocre and they know it. But it's a popular thing to praise her so they do it.

^Exactly, but when you unravel and dissect this "Beyonce" it is truly rotten on the inside of the packaging. She has no credibility as a true artist, no depth as a person (uneducated) and her image, especially to black and brown girls, is toxic. She's "Beyonce" for a reason, and it has more to do than other agendas then her contribution to music.
If people, really women, truly understood their importance and power (i.e, matriarchial cultures of many black and brown people) they would understand why is has been so important for hollywood to dictate to us how to be a woman. As long as they keep us unnaturally focused on hair, lashes, booty, exterior wealth the more we neglect our children's development, our communities, our food, our familial relations which is the real role of black and brown women. When our focus is there we are an unstoppable force and glue, the way they distract us and define us we lose our power and our children and communities unravel (for their gain financially). For them it is truly all about creating an economy and role for themselves in our world. Beyonce is very useful for that purpose, a distraction, the anti-black and brown woman and a generator/stimulator of wealth for others (hair, clothing).
The #1 black woman won't be found on tv, she is in her home, in her community raising strong well balanced children, being pillars of their community.
It's time for women to stop taking cues from these carefully crafted billboards a la a "Beyonce" "Jay Z" these images are harmful, destructive and never lead us to our higher selves.

There's so many to chose from that will definitely stick, but the thing that I can see happening is years from now there will be so many people looking at her and saying to themselves, "Damn..I don't know what I ever really saw in her." Or "...And to think, I thought this chick was all that and a bag of chips, really tho?", or "I'm starting to feel like everyone else, wish she would just go away!" In any event, people will come to their senses. *fingers crossed*

I agree that Beyonce probably won't be brought down by a scandal because no one really cares about her like that. The VMAs were totally marketed on Beyonce's video vanguard performance, yet the ratings were down 20 percent from last year. No one cared to tune in and see her.
And yes, her next album will flop. Just like this one is a flop as well but people overlook that for the fact that she pulled a stunt and created all the drama around the surprise release. Her new album has not sold much more than "4", which is a certified flop. She has no number one songs on the album, the album fell completely off the chart after 2 months. It is a complete failure.
But this is why her next album will be a complete failure. She won't be able to pull the "secret album release" stunt again because it will be played out and people will see it exactly for what it is: a stunt. What is she gonna do? What could she possibly do to get the kind of attention for her next album that she did for "Beyonce"? Literally drop copies of the album out of a hot air balloon? There's nothing she can do to top that stunt without it being seen as an obvious stunt. People will turn on her for that kind of desperation. If she pulls a stunt, people will find her cheesy and the album will flop. If she doesn't pull a stunt, people will completely ignore her and the album will flop. She loses either way.
Ad in the fact that she'll be 34 or 35 by her next album. While that is still young in the real world, it's ancient in the music industry. There will be a new hot young thing coming along soon to wow the industry. Make no mistake, they're grooming another Britney Spears right now. It's past time for a teen-pop revival. The music industry wants a white teen girl superstar like they had with Britney, who was bigger than Beyonce has ever been. And as much as she wants to claim it, Beyonce is not white.
So I'm calling it now. Her next album will flop hard and there will be a new Britney Spear-like star on the rise and Beyonce will get lost in the shuffle and completely forgotten about.

I've been hearing for a while that a lot of those Disney stars get molested and sexually exploited while STILL WORKING ACTIVELY AS "SQUEAKY CLEAN" DISNEY STARS, especially the 14-16 year olds ..and the raunchy desperate behavior when they become of age is just the end result of it its just evil.

Look how they hype her and all the promotion, she has fans but she hasn't popped/caught on as somebody that will dominate a generation. She had a ton of promo for this album yet it's only projected 150k-200k. They have to go back to the drawing board but I definitely believe she was supposed to it the next it girl. She doesn't have the sales or stage presence. She touted to have such an amazing voice but gets on stage and whispers and cheats her way through notes not to mention she can't dance or even have rhythm for that matter.

I agree that she was supposed to be "it" though. But she's not even a great singer. She has a voice but she sings like she's got gum in her mouth and you can't understand a word she says. The Mariah Carey comparisons are not valid at all, IMO. And she is beyond awkward on stage. It's actually embarrassing and painful to watch her, so she is certainly not "the one" who's gonna make Beyonce an irrelevant old has-been. They're gonna find a teenager with Britney's looks, body, dancing abilities, and Christina Aguilera's voice and the whole industry is gonna get behind her. And Beyonce will be over.
