Okay, I was thinking and I don't think she was ever suppose to be a Pop Singer (let along in the industry at all, but since Ratty Matty helped, here she is) When she first came out along with DC I always classified them as R&B singers. They didn't have crossover, no matter how poppy the song was. Like you guys know a person can cross over, then cross right back over, or maybe have different types of genres in their music and it's all good. But with Beyonce? Nah...not at all. I think her voice was made for R&B and we all know Pop is the thing to be if you want recognition all around. You can stay in R&B all your career and still be known to the folks who listen to R&B, but if you want to really be known...you have to crossover which is what Beyawnce did. Songs like Me My Self and I and Dangerously in Love, Irreplaceable fits her, it's her perfect genre! But Single Ladies and all that other shit it's not for her she doesn't have the crossover appeal. Sad but true.

Sooo true, I agree 100% and I believe this was where the mistake was.
Pop is more than music, a big part of it is IMAGE and personality, which Bey is terribly lacking in creating excitement and intrigue with.
Thats why DIL was her best sound...it was best suited for her.

Have to continue from Bella... Image and personality is definitely her big problem. Simply put, unlike other pop singers past and present, she does not know how to communicate. Even Rihanna can do an interview such as the one she did to discuss Chris Brown, whereas Beyonce tends to ignore challenging subjects. And if you look at pop giants like Michael and Madonna, one thing they had/have in common, they gave heart and soul. Beyonce is too calculating and wants it all on her own terms....probably why she is struggling right now.

Beyonce is ust such a control freak when it comes to her image and it has backifred on her big time. She has revealed herself as having zero personality and people don't want that from a legend. They Want MJ or Prince, or Elton John. Magnetic personalities. Beyonce is sorely lacking in that area. Also as much as she tries to look white her mannerisms are very hood when she slips up. That's probably why she needs to script everything. I always thoguht the way she was forever roling her eyes and snapping her neck and pursing her lips was so tacky, and very trannyish. A well brought up lady can communicate her feelings verbally without having to use all sorts of body parts. As for her music instead of doing what lelgends do and carving their own place Beyonce tried to take a little piece of everyone's spot and it failed and now she has no place at all. I've always said BEyonce could have been much more than she is now. If only she hadn't taken the easy "ass shaking route". |

Well she done this to herself, she should have taken a real break and explore diffrent things, but oh well this is why she will never be a legend.
