And now THIS At this point I don't even think any thought is going into what her career moves should be. Jay Zoo has got her out there doing anything and everything to make that money back. If she goes on like this her brand will never recover. by the time this divorce is through, her name will be crap.

I dont know anything about the movie or the book, cuz I only read non-fiction. But since they let Yodel in, it has to be all types of trash.

The book is porn on paper... it goes well with this new personality she has created... I saw the trailer for the movie this morning and heard the supposedly "exclusive" new version of Crazy in Love. Smdh... if aint broke then don't break it... She just pretty much backtracked and destroyed one of the songs that she could actually consider a classic... Poor baby.

As a desperate, emotionally stunted, semi-literate woman I guess Beythirsty thought this was a good career move because she has a lot in common with most of the people who supported this dreck and think of it as real literature. This wont do anything for the people who don't like her/her music but it might put a little more money in her overlords' pockets.

I had no respect for the book(s) from day one. The author said it started out as fan fiction for the movie Twilight. Secondly, the book DOES NOT ACCURATELY PORTRAY BDSM BUT AN ABUSIVE, DESTRUCTIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANA AND CHRISTIAN (THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS) IN AN UNHEALTHY & DISTURBING WAY. the thing is, I like erotica, but the books are badly written ( Iv'e read better fan fiction written by teenagers, to be quite honest) and I'm afraid they'll be a negative influence on impressionable young women who will confuse sexual possessiveness/controlling behavior with love. In a way, it parallels Beyonce's relationship with jay, at least in some aspects.

At this point, nothing the Knowles-Carter camp does surprises me, the desperation is REAL, lol!

@ GiftofDiscernment I agree hon! And the fact that the media enables these two insecure individuals is nauseating. Back in the day, the way these two behave would only be seen in your average minstrel show. I really don't mean to sound hateful..but Ive had enough. by the way, how have you been? I like your recent updates on facebook (the Teena Marie one was awesome..my mom went to her shows back in the day as well, lol. Shes truly an underrated Gem)

Glad you liked my post- I got caught up in the "I'm so _____ (insert city you are from)" trend and was going back and forth with friends for a day or two- brought back so many good memories. Yes, Teena Marie was painfully underrated- she had soul, a great voice, wrote alot of her own music, and played several instruments. She is definitely missed!
