Interestingly there was a thread on lipstick alley a live update on her performance and most were saying they were underwhelmed it has magically disappeared and has been replaced with a celebs reaction to the performance typical sheep le move so how can sunnier have a different view
It's sad how much propaganda is used to prop her up
I watched a little and got bored and as someone pointed out in the now missing thread was how she kept the mic plastered , over her mouth

Blue sat in the audience and saw her "mom" perform her songs, then do a strip tease show on a couch and then on a poll, wow, this baby is so immuned....that's sad.
She had to give Camel, 2 or three head signals after her fake a$$ speech, with the fake a$$ tears that wouldn't fall? Camel wouldn't come backstage with her initially. He was in the audience at first with Kelly and Blue. Seems he hadn't planned on going back stage. Seems like he was just gonna "Be" there to save face. Blue is looking just like her father these days. I never speak ill of children, because I am a mother myself,so that's all I gotta say about that.
Her glorified swimsuit and fishnet stockings were not impressive, same old type of costume. All in all, I was NOT moved, I don't feel like she deserved the award, her performance could have been so much better. Remember how Janet and Michael and whoever ELSE was performing would bring it? Well she didn't bring it at all. The wig was tired, the outfit looked stank, especially the fishnets. I feel like she payed for this spot and the award. Beydummie does not deserve this MJ Vanguard Award. SHE hasn't had any #1's in a while, but she gets this award!?
What happened to other artists? VARIETY? Are they pumping Jessie J, Arianna Grande, Niki Minaj, Iggy Izealea only? Just all the ratchet women? Half naked? With the exception of Usher?... but, with Niki? Or did I miss some of the show? Oh well just My two cents, if I weren't braiding My daughters hair, while chatting with a neighbor, who loves award shows, mu TV would have been on Naked and Afraid, she was even disappointed after the show, and she's a huge Yodel fan. Oh, well. Can't wait to see tomorrow what others have to day bout her overated performance, I just had to chime in though, lol. Y'all have a good night.

I don't watch award shows, never did. They've never interested me unless theres a performance I want to watch (or if I'm bored)... which is hardly ever. But, my Tumblr dashboard was filled with "BeyMA" spazzing. I never realize how many Beyonce fans I follow until she does something. With that being said, I watched half of the performance on Youtube because I was genuinely curious. But like always, her stans blow shit out of proportion. Couldn't find a good quality and it was only half of the performance. But, I won't be looking for the rest/good quality version come tomorrow because it didn't move me. I often question myself like, "Why can't Beyonce move me?" "Why am I not impressed?" "Maybe I'm tripping" But then... I think nah, I'm not tripping, at all. It's been like this since 03. It was cute back then. Not at all now. It seems the crowd was cheering at every hip swing -- which if she wants to do, that's her prerogative. Beyonce is held up at such God tier standard, that when I do watch a performance I'm like... okay?!?!!?! I'm expecting something so much more and I don't know why my ass keep letting myself down. Lmfao! For her to be this "legend" I still can't see it. I seen the celebrity reactions which made me involuntarily roll my eyes and her singing seemed on point, though. I dunno about anyone else but MJ's 1995 VMA performance is still unmatched. I don't know why I expect some killer choreography, like Mike & Janet, hell even Ciara! That woman can dance her butt off. For her to be "better" than Michael Jackson, she sure as hell is underwhelming. One thing you have to give her credit for, she's been doing one thing for 10+ years and she sure is doing the hell out if it. I have to remember that this generation obsess over every damn thing and curiosity most definitely killed this cat. And as I always say, Beyonce is overrated.
I agree with ya Bella, she looks very tired. Blue is such a cute pie. Looking more like Jay every day. I didn't look them up presenting the award to her but, from the gifs I've seen of Jay he had those gold grill thingys in his mouth and I caught second-hand embarrassment!!! Who let him walk out there like that?!?! That man is what? 45? Why, Sean why?! He needs to act his age and not his shoe size. It's crazy what still trying to appeal to the younger generation would do to ya.
I'm gonna go watch some MJ performances to wash the filth my eyes just witnessed and try to gain back 9 minutes I wasted.

Sad her dancers (Les Twins) are better than her. Like, at this point I expect her to be able to kill the men and still be able to give off the sex appeal that she wants to. Can she do any other form of dancing? What is she going to do when she gets old? When she's in her 50/60's -- I'm pretty sure she'll be doing comeback tours or vegas or whatever -- but what is she going to do then? I'm sure no one is going to want to see a grandma shaking her booty (who knows with this generation). It's one in the morning rn so I can't entirely think but if my memory serves me correct she really doesn't have a choreographed dance that's all age appropriate? Am I wrong? (Correct me if so) You seen Mike getting ready for the This Is It Tours (even though he wasn't healthy to do so) as if he was MJ in Thriller era! He still had it and he didn't look ridiculous. |

The same ole moves, and it looks as if she's toned down her choreography so that she doesn't have to work as hard, those boring songs had me struggling to keep up. Blue ivy got her hair combed so I was happy for that, they threw a bow on an Afro,lol and she looks exactly like her dad....

They are doing their best to have this performance go down as epic, I watched the clip on some blog and like I said I honestly got bored and turned it off from the few minutes I saw I was underwhelmed it was so lackluster, maybe it got better towards the end. Beyonce is a sham and I think most arecrealizingbit, she is a great performer or has been as she has covered up her just lack, for so long. It had been her looks and sexuality , sex appeal that has carried her.

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since my last post here, i've been busy.
I've finally watched this so called epic performance from our favourite pornstar. It was ok. Not super good, but good enough to be entertained. However there is NOTHING epic or groundbreaking about this perf! It's the same shit she's been giving her fans for the past 10 years SMH... She done better back in her DIL days and can't dance and sing at the same time the way she used to. I may be wrong but I doubt it was all live, I suspect some miming.
She needs to quit with that "feminist" bullshit. We all know she is not bright enough to know what it means. Except the brainless stans who's gonna believe that shit?
I've noticed mainstream media, celebrities, and fans alike talked about the performance being epic without talking about the actual performance itself. All the stans had to say was this: "she's the first to perform a medley of an entire album at an award show" LOL! They can't give any constructive criticism about the performance because THEY KNOW their queen isn't that good. Some singers in the industry have weaker vocals than BeySnooze but are better performers overall: Jlo, Janet, Pink (well actually she is vocally as good as BeeSnooze), Dawn Richard... I could go on. Not saying the Fleehives' God figure has no talent, she has some, but I just don't get hype. I also don't understand why she wants to be tied to Michael Jackson so bad. She doesn't have a fraction of his talent. Janelle Monae is closer to Michael Jackson than her.

I think Blue was there to make normal the oversexualization of children. They keep saying that was the best performance of her life, I smell payola, we all know better than that, hell, Beyonce knows better than that, she did better that year at the awards with that "Run The World" thievery. Y'all know how MJ and his sister, and Prince and other big named celebs, (because there were several then) would turn an awards show out, make it memorable, something to talk about for the rest of the week! LOL, when she's not ripping off other folks' talent, this is what we get, nothing. Sad Y'all. I heard/read that either security or Camel (I say Camel) banned Solange from being near Kelly, Camel, and Blue. LOL #youcantsitwithus, upon discovery, Yodel supposedly went off on security back stage, Camel tried to intervene, she was said to go off on him even worse, totally unfiltered, for all to hear. I guess that's why he was in the audience fake smiling with Blue, biting his lips, looking like "damn, can't NEVER go NOWHERE without the madness!" It's just wild, with these two.

She looked very large...All that dancing she should be thin.She really should not let her daughter see her gaping her legs open during dancing.Blue may not understand what demeaning yourself for a dollar means, but she will copy psysical movements her Mom does.Blue looked so cute in the audience moving her little hands and dancing.Blue's hair just got a small pass because of that bow in her hair.I know now Blue parents think unkempt hair is ok.Her hair looked dry! How could she bring that baby on stage with a head full of kuckerferds! I guess Blues expensive clothes make up for the nest hair style.

I don't understand their problem with Blue's hair. Monica's daughter is gorgeous and wears her COMBED & MOISTURIZED afro everyday. Not understanding why can't that be done to Blue.
But back to the topic at hand. Same ol' same ol'. Beydundance regresses with every album. She needs to retire. I and nobody outside of her stans are here for the poor man's Tina Turner impersonation. Take that shit to Vegas. She would not be seemingly working from paycheck to paycheck killing herself if she went to Vegas and stop trying to force herself down our throats. Everything about her is forgettable. Her delusional stans think they'll change the name of the Vanguard to her name. Ummm she doesn't have an iconic or memorable video under her belt. MTV didn't even acknowledge why she got the award.Most likely because she paid for it/exchanged for a performance. Same with that stolen Billboard crap. How did she even get that award when she's rarely on the charts and when she is she never dominates it? With both 4closure & Flopyonce albums she suspiciously received some huge honor from an award show. Nothing but hype and promo to sell albums.
That's failing btw, Justin Timberlake had an Itunes takeover last year. All of his albums, singles and NSYNC's were all up and through the Itunes charts. Where is Beyesterday's music? She isn't even top 40 on the Itunes singles and her album is behind Chris Brown's X and his is only presale's.
That was the most anticlimactic performance of all time, definitely worst that her Grammy's thing. At least that one had controversy, this was just plain boring with songs nobody has ever heard. Same leotard, same wig, same moves, same pre recorded vocals, bland live vocals, I can't even.

It's also memorable because of the infamous Kanye/Taylor thing. Other than that it was Bey doing someone elses choreography in front of a white screen then going to interviews talking about the "concept" of it as if it was her work. Most likely she got the award in exchange for a performance. Funny thing is, the show was the lowest rated since 2012 and 2nd lowest rated Vma's in 7 years. As I said it's suspicious that with her last 2 albums that were not these huge successes, she received some huge honorable award. And her album was so "groundbreaking" yet she didn't even win any Billboard awards, the charts she supposedly slayed. Hmm |
