Now as you know with every generation there is always groups of celebrities who come in and sort of "replace" the last generation. A lot of times the new generation will be compared to the last. Sort of how Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and even Usher is/was compared to Michael Jackson. As so forth with other artist as well. Kind of like how Ariana Grande is compared to Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj is/was compared to Lil Kim. Britney to Madonna or even Lady Gaga to Madonna. It's a cycle if you will. Ok, back to my real question. Beyonce is getting older and at a certain age -- especially women become hard to market and sell the particular brand they are trying to sell. Especially nowadays where the fans are generally fickle. They go for what's hot. Beyonce aging is and will affect her brand. Not only that but the masses are loosing interest in her and they're just completely tired. And lets be honest, Beyonce's generation were the early to mid-2000's. Anything after that has gone down hill and hasn't been notable.
Okay now seriously back to my real questions LOL. Do you think Beyonce's replacement is someone already in the spotlight? I was talking to a friend of mine and he said that he thinks it'll be Rihanna. We agreed to disagree. No matter what you think of Robyn she is a superstar in her own right. She's "more successful" at 26 than Beyonce at 33 or even Beyonce when she was 26. Rihanna is a true pop star and has been for years now. She's a fashion Icon and etc. Whether you hate her voice, think she can't sing or what not that girl is everything a pop star embodies. Especially for this millennium. That goes to say I told my friend well Rihanna is already a star, she's already crossed over, she's established. I highly doubt it'll be her. I'm sure once Beyonce goes bye bye she'll be really be pushed to the forefront. I personally don't see anyone who can be Bey's replacement if were speaking in terms of all the crap she did to get to where she is. Speaking of shameful things Matthew Knowles has done. It was truly "hard work" to get to where she is now.
So in introspect I want to know y'all thoughts? I've been curious about this for months now. Who is her replacement? Who is in a running? Will the industry get a new woman? I'm also curious to see how this goes because this is also a digital era it's a technology generation. Things were different for other generations compared to this and the upcoming generation.

Hmmm, Rihanna is a huge star, she has clawed her way to where she is, I'm sure she's done equally foul if not fouler things than Beyonce. However I don't think she speands as much on PR and tries to control her public image so much. So in terms of exposure, she is still young or fresh. She's not expired like Beyonce here. So she might still be the next choice for TPTB to replace Beyonce. I don't see them spending any more money to lift up another one of these whores. It'll probably be Rihanna as the token black Diva. The days of divas who could really sing are over so her lack of skill means nothing. It'll probably be her. I don't keep up with popular culture any more. it's all so generic what with Bey lapping up rih's left over songs. So I don't know any of the new acts. so my guess is Rihanna. Although just for laughs I'd love it if they revived an old diva too sntach Beyonce's wig. Like Mariah or somebody.

I don't think it'll be Rhi simply because it's not that important to Rhi to be EVERYTHING. I'm a huge fan of Rhi's music.
Honestly I think Bey is irreplaceable, but in a bad way.
I really don't see another person having so many elements come together to create a fraud like her and so successful at that. She was like the perfect storm. Even she knows she's an anomaly, which is why she's "in awe" of herself and her talent....it's not awe, it's "I still can't believe it worked"..... Beyonce will be remembered as the most PR Pushed, self centered, fake, fraudulent, overrated, overhyped celebrity EVER.
With that being said I actually think there will be another "it girl" but I don't know who yet, and it would be funny if her whole persona was to be the anti-beyonce image lol. In these days and times people want REALNESS. The glammed up, neuvo riche, pseudo gangsta/Bonnie and Clyde schtick is sooooo 2002!
Everyone's perception of EVERYTHING is changing, and Beyonce is quickly being realized as a dated relic. She has no room for growth to keep up with the times (can't even keep a wig off to change her look up).
*** The biggest question is how she'll handle the fall from grace.
You know, we always assume that the only reason the media gives accolades and her and her camp buy accolades, is to further her career and money......but lately I've been questioning of maybe it's to save her sanity? You know how everyone knows that crazy person who lives in delusion, and because you care about them, you play along with the game because you know they'd self destruct if their little bubble of delusion were to pop? Maybe Bey is mentally ill, maybe that's why Jay has been looking so stressed lately, because he knows it's a MUST for his sick wife to keep this charade going.

I agree belladonna1983. I was thinking that the VMA's were tryouts,TPTB were judging. It just seemed that way. Everyone put on their best. I could be wrong, but Ms. Grande just don't have what it takes, and a lot of people are saying it'll be her who gets the throne. I can barely stand to hear her sing, ma nerves just go crazy..... ugh. But I think Ms. Anaconda could take that spot. Couldn't y'all see NM fitting perfectly in Yodels position?

Honestly, she has already been replaced in the terms of record sales and relevance imo by the likes of Adele and Rihanna, but no one can touch her PR machine' hustle at the moment. When TPTB replace her in terms of popularity with the masses (or perceived popularity) I think it all be with someone is the the complete opposite of Worker Bee....Speaking on sanity, I don't think she will handle the fall from grace well...

The difference between BeyBLAH and Rihanna's IG's pages are very telling, as well as their ".com" pages. B is forever posing and usually alone (on occasion with family). RiRi features herself as well as other people. She even has a few photos of B. lol
The image section under Google for these two is really different!! RiRi is involved in activity, other people and not always mugging for the camera. Bee, lol, on the other hand is alone and forever posing.
Glad to see RiRi is enjoying herself and doesn't seem to give a F.

Rhianna wont give as much of a shit as Beyonce will, once her career starts to plummet. She just isnt as invested...that's why I love Rhi.
also, Rhi's fans aren't as much in love with her IMAGE, as they are with her ACTUAL MUSIC....therefore, they are much more inclined to stick it out with her till the end (pun intended
Yes, I'm a fan...and Rhi has hits I'll be listening to for a long time.

That lily white broomstick is not God Almighty. And I'm not a real Beyonce fan but I like some of her music and she stands out because of her skin complexion and she can sing but her fake wanna look like a white chick and better ass has cross the line with this one. Even though Ledisi look like a pop-eyed Medusa, you can tell Beyonce long gully ostrich neck her mama evil lookin old soggy conflake lookin ass and her daddy look like E.T they been suckin all kind of illuminati d@%$ from the jump. That's why its stars like Ledisi and others who don't make it as big as Beyonce they want to but they don't. Beyonce probably was forced anyway so people cocouldld watch the Grammy's and not something else on TV or she would a lose her super stardom and then the again between her, her daddy, and big titty lip Jay Z probably paid them because maybe they're trying to stay in the "light" because they so scared to flop coochy lip came out with "Tidal" and it flopped and now they tryna do a joint album. Can you imagine Jay Z and Beyonce flopping and looking stupid and not winning sh no mo? I seen them shade videos of Beyonce too her and her family been ratchet from the hit go.

I've said it in another thread but I'll repeat it here - keep an eye out for Tinashe. The hype around her outweighs the performance of her radio-friendly songs (I'm not talking about older work like mixtapes). Her people will keep pushing the multi-talented angle as she becomes more famous just as Matty's crew pushed that angle for Bey. The difference is that with Bey it's been shown to be a huge lie but Tinashe it'll be mostly true. I don't think that Robyn was ever supposed to be Bey's replacement because the trajectory of her career is patterned more after Madonna's than anyone else's. Extremely limited vocal range, mediocre dancer at best, and she relies heavily on sex, manufactured rebelliousness, IT producers and fashion to propel her career. The biggest difference is that Madonna played at being an advocate for feminism and gay rights whereas Robyn hasn't. Another difference is that Robyn used bombardment as a tactic because her people know that her music has a short shelf life, hence releasing so many albums in such a short amount of time. Her usual turnover time is....what, about 2 years? I think Robyn might be behind schedule, which could cause most people to become impatient and lose interest. Her singles have only performed so-so and rumor is that she's trying to scrape together some big hits. Bey was supposed to be a MJ type with splashes of Tina and Diana - a wunderkind in a group who went solo as an adult and turned into a megastar with lots of glitter and glamour. There was never any wunderkind element of Robin's fame but there's that element to Tinashe's story.
