Does anyone else find it strange to know not much has been said about the last nights HBO special? I refused to watch that contrived mess but still expected to wake up to tons of fake praises and kudos from the media and fans. But with the exception of a few stans on Twitter, it's pretty much been crickets. I have a sneaking suspicion the ratings weren't that high but still can't wait to see how the Carters spin this thing.

YT's on the run tour, bey's HBO special, has very low viewership as of this time. the only one with a 1,600 was with NM. oops.

if u go onto YT and type "HBO special On The Run Tour" in their search box.
omg, the 2, 3, and 4 pages have many OTR videos with "0" views. some have been out a few hours, other videos have been out for a month with just 100-200 views. not good. it must be killing her! surprised the fleahive hasn't responded?
guess the flehive numbers have dwindled in the last year? i hear the HBO special is on marathon rotation. very little advertisement for her show? could have been her idea to air it and not the HBO company, so why would they spend the money?
this is the beginning of the end.

I saw the beginning....was trying to watch the whole thing so I could blog about it but... got bored....Jay Z looked EXTREMELY skinny, not healthy skinny (but we're already addressed that)..Beyonce seemed really stiff (maybe she got some fresh butt shots or something) and checkout out until she did that flawess remix with NM, then she seemed thirsty for a hit with her marvin the martian head piece on...

I saw little videos of some of it on YouTube and I don't see the hype. Especially compared to her other tours. She didn't seem into it. It's almost as if she was forced to perform. Very lackluster performances on her part. The dancers were better than she was, the crowd was silent, and it seemed more about theatrics and firey explosions than the music. Not to mention the performances with her and Jay... it was more like "let's get this over with". They could have used this money on something else.

As was mentioned Janet received the vanguard 24 years ago. Since then she is still an innovator who is unmatched. Beyonce doesn't even amount to the talent Janet has in her pinky toe. Did you see that performance? It's time for Janet to be honored again.
