Some folks have been dragging poor little Blue Ivy. They are saying all sorts of things about her little braids and looks. Poor thing. Imagine if Kelly or Michelle went on to have some drop dead gorgeous babies. With all the atributes that Beyonce values. Like If they had mixed kids with silky hair and nice eyes like Beyonce wishesshe had. Wouldn't it just corrode Beyonce's ego if her baby was the least adorable of the bunch. Anyway, what do you guys think of the dragging of little Blue? How do you guys think it makes Beyonce feel, other than the normal maternal reaction? |

Okay, first, I wanna ask...am I going to hell because when I read the title to this thread, iChuckled? Anyways, my thoughts are this: I truly do feel sorry for little BIC. She is innocent in this, she did not ask for this circus of a life, and to be born into it, nor for a half-assed, self-centered mother like Beyonce. With that being said.....yeah, its bad that people drag her like they do, but unfortunately that is now a part of the legacy handed down to her by being born into that clan (unwillingly). Unfortunately, BIC is collateral damage that is resultant of the karma that Beyonce and Jay Z are now reaping. Karma is not selective about what aspect of your life it touches.People dislike that clan SO MUCH that anything and anyone connected to them is fair game....its all about the general dislike. Its just how it is... My final point....man, please, I'm not gonna get all up in arms about someone calling BIC Frankenbaby or JayZJr, when there are kids out there starving and being abused. So what, people rag on her a little....so what? She's still a very priviliged and spoiled child, and with the exception of possible mental and emotional abuse, she's better off than a lotta kids. So I feel if people wanna wave a flag about mistreatment of children, start at your local Child Protective Services office, and stop worrying about BIC, because she will be okay.
Why doesnt the child ever smile? She looks like she has the soul of a 50 year old unhappy woman, not a tot.... |

I realize I sound a little heartless, and thats not my aim...its just that in my 30 years I've learned much about how life works, and you cant walk around with an "everything is roses" view on life......people pick on kids, its a fact. She's not in danger, and she's not being bullied to her face. Now dont get me wrong, oh hell yeah, I think its DEFINITELY wrong, and some of the things people say make me say "Damn, yall didnt have to say all that"....but still. Why should BIC be elevated over the considerations of any other child? Bey and Jay not waving a flag for my soon to be Baby Girl, so why would I wave one for theirs? As long as I'm not going out of my way to taunt her or make remarks, it is what it is....plus they said on RWS that JayZ made a crack on Nas's daughter being fat a while back...so again, Karma baby.
But I do wish BIC had been born to a normal, middle class couple. She deserves better. That baby dont need thousand dollar crowns and bejeweled Barbie's and shit...she needs GENUINE motherly love and nurture and support. She needs to feel like someone is proud of her, and kids can detect that without it being said. Personally I blame Bey for how people taunt BIC because she makes it worse with these half hidden face photos...she's eggin it on without realizing it.
If you arent proud of your baby, why would the world be, especially when they already resent your ass as it is?

Maybe this is where her parents need to step in and start acting normal.
If it's any consolation, I don't think people actually hate Blue. I think it's misguided frustration.
They just want her parents to PLEASE take a break!!!
About Kelly and Michelle having gorgeous babies, somehow I think Bey got that already. I'm thinking a contract banning them from procreating within 10 years of Blue's birth...(that's just my opinion).
The only thing I don't know is how it makes Beyonce feel. I don't want to judge her but, there is a part of me that feels she sometimes uses Blue for attention. I hope I'm wrong.

Do I think it's wrong to bash a child? Yes, it's not cool at all but when you wage a war amongst people those rules unfortunately go out the window. Some people just don't care and will not take your mud slinging and you throwing daggers at them without retaliating back.
Beyonce and Jay started this war a long time ago with their bragging, belittling people, declaring themselves mightier than God himself. They've repeatedly pushed and made it clear that the idea that light skin is to be worshiped, long 'good' hair is better than you nappy heads, being rich makes us better than you, The Mrs., I'm not really black campaigns, y'all just jealous, showing their devotion to Satan, we're perfect, we sell out for money, much bragging, we steal and get away with it, Beyonce's sending messages that looking European is better, etc, etc, etc...
Where's the humility? They've rubbed too many people the wrong way to expect anyone not to have anything to say about them, unfortunately, even if that means taking digs at their kid. When we live in a society where as people have actually died because someone didn't like the way that person looked at them, then we can't expect people to be fair and do what we think is the right thing to do or not to do.
