Apparently they renewed their vows...Bey is officially with live nation. With a new 360 deal. This popular deal is robbing artists today such by owning half of artists' other ventures like endorsements and the like, apart from record sales. Now as the contract renewed he may be rewarded higher earnings as her handler, Well hope he wises up to his investors and takes care of the rest of his debts..i guess...

I don't really care about the "pregnancy" but I've got lots of questions about that new deal. Why would a successful, savvy artist sign a 360 deal? Did she do this because she still owes them money from when she was touring off her 4closure album?

Bey...is very stupid, she doesn't know what she will get with this deal.As illiterate and very slow as she is, it shows. Lyor who was appointed chairman of def jam implemented that deal to rob artists full circle. I read this quote where Rapper game said "If u find a dollar on the floor the record company wants half"...Rest is history

360 deal? Had to look it up. Definition: 360 deals are contracts that allow a record label to receive a percentage of the earnings from ALL of a band's activities instead of just record sales. Under 360 deals, also called "multiple rights deals," record labels may get a percentage of things that were previously off limits to them, like: Concert revenue Merchandise sales Endorsement deals Ringtones In exchange for getting a bigger cut from the artists they represent, the labels say they will commit to promoting the artist for a longer period of time and will actively try and develop new opportunities for them. In essence, the label will function as a pseudo- manager and look after the artist's entire career rather than only focusing on selling records. 360 deals are controversial for a lot of reasons. First of all, they're often seen a cynical money grab by labels that are facing dwindling sales and high overhead. The charge is that labels have survived a long time without these kinds of deals, so it would seem that they're suffering from a failure to manage their businesses and react appropriately to the changing industry - asking the bands to foot the bill hardly seems fair. Other people object to the whole "band branding" notion that makes 360 deals so potentially profitable for labels. A great example is The Pussycat Dolls. Sure, the branding has been a huge success - but where exactly does the music fit into the picture?
Labels counter that these deals let them sign different kinds of artists because they don't have to be so focused on recouping their investment from album sales. They can stop chasing the instant number one and work with artist in the long haul because they don't need to rely on big sales figures alone to make signing the artist profitable.

Oh Beyonce, if your career were a person I would tell you to just shoot them know. I'm starting to think she is in fact slow. She still owes from her last live nation deal and now she's on this 360 nonsense? With her brand already slipping, you're going to start seeing Beyonce doing all sorts of random endorsements. She's going to be on all sorts of shows she never would have been on. they are going to cash in on her one way on another. This would have been a great deal for the record comapny when BEyonce was at her height. Now that her star is waning, they aren't going to make nearly as much from her. And what does she endorse nowadays? everything she touches turns to crap. Pepsi's losses afterthey made that ridiculous ad with her. H&M, what happened to their Beyonce line? I've not seen anything from there on the streets.
But my question is, what happened to the independent-in-charge-of-my-own-career-its-all-me woman?
