Yes, Bey has her share of legal drama but Jay is no better. This is probably why he forces all these tours and joint albums.

He's still dragging out that Rocafella lawsuit, I see.

All of his cases seem to revolve around his music and image but I'm really surprised nobody sued him over the nasty conditions in those raggedy nightclubs he used to have. There were soooooo many health code violations (

) and I'm sure there were some building safety hazards too. I think Beytlejuice's lawsuits get a little more publicity because she's such an attention whore. Jay is more lowkey (or he used to be before they were married) and even though he's a braggart he's not in everyone's faces the way his wife is.

Decide this with your own ears. Joel Mac is a musician claiming in a new federal lawsuit that Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean have shamelessly stolen a song from him. He says he was selling his CDs outside of their hotel a few years ago, the Mercer Hotel in SoHo, at the same time they were recording Jay Z’s “Watch the Throne” album there. Mac claims that one of the album’s producers, Mike Dean, bought one of his CDs in front of the hotel, and the next thing he knew, his song “Made in America” was suddenly on Jay Z’s album. Jay Z’s song is also called Made in America and there are definitely similarities. Mac wants a cut of the profits. What do your ears say? Was it grand theft audio or is dude trippin'?
