This questions is out of genuine curiosity. I know some of you were Beyonce fans and did you know any straight males who genuinely liked/loved her music? I know males love R&B too. so I was wondering if her music appealed to straight men? I notice a lot of males praise Beyonce because well...her image is Beyonce. But do they genuinely listen/study her music? I'm not thinking that none of them do but Im sure they do but I know the bulk of her fanbase comes from gays and women. Shoot did DC appeal to straight men?

I've never met a straight guy who was a serious fan of her music. I've known some who think of her as sexy and they recognize her songs on the radio but actual fans? No. Her music doesn't seem to resonate with them the way other singers' music does. Thinking back to high school I didn't know any straight boys who loved DC4's music either.

Honestly I don't know any men who stan for Beyonce or even her looks. I know a couple of duds who think Jlo is hot, and everyone thinks Rihanna is hot but I haven't heard about Beyonce's hotness since her DIL days. As for her music, I don't know any guys who are down for her songs. in fact I know a couple of guys who get pissed off at her "green light, irreplaceable, who run the world mentality."

Well, what I've noticed is the straight men mainly enjoy the visual and the gay males not only enjoy the visuals because she's everything they wish to be, but they also can tell anyone about the Biography of Yonce'. They are usually the ones who wholeheartedly believe she's more than a perfect being, butshe's a cotdamn goddess.

I don't even hear straight men talking about her looks. They don't like her music, most I know never even heard much of it. Her beauty/sex symbol thing was forced just like the whole legendary artist/the greatest blah blah. Men do not drool over her, not even back in the day unless it was someone on tv. Most men back then were talking about Nia, Sanaa, Gabby, Jada, and Halle and in 2015 they are still talking about them. Bey has aged terribly so that doesn't help either, she looks older than most 40 something year old black women in the industry. Most of them look youthful

I'm straight and love Beyoncé music and image but then again I used to be a musician so I appricate the talent as well Ryan Tedder Bono and majority of straight male musicians like Beyoncé either for her talent or her music
I'm more of a fan of her ballads although the whole of Beyonce album i listen to all the way through

Uh yeah, they talked about her looks during the 2002-2011 years.. after 2011 it stopped. If you go on internet archives or just recall conversations from that time men use to compare Beyonce and Rihanna together and chose Beyonce all the time.. Rihanna when she first came out was clowned for her looks for having a wide nose and broad forehead. beyonce is more of a conventional beauty but her sex appeal is non existent and her image is manufactured. Later her lack of sex appeal become more evident and Rihanna's looks came up (slight nose job/growing into features/ and a HELL OF A GOOD "glam up" team) that's when Rihanna started over taking Beyonce in the looks department, lol

EXCEPTION: Father's, like my husband who used to dance with our daughters when they were smaller, that's cute, and innocent, I see all the similar videos on YouTube, cudos, there's nothing wrong with that, anything outside of that, nah!

Look up her high school year book pic, doesn't look anything like her, she had work done to her eyes too that's why when Maceo was born people were asking why he looked Phillipino (sp) he has Halle's old face. She also dressed MUCH better and carried herself more like a LADY but now a tramp. She should pull a "Tina Turner" and leave her man and go out on her own but she has a child to think about too. Beyonce has had so many surgeries she's practically a quilt. She's had her face contoured especially round the chin and cheek area. She has had many nose jobs over the years, many small subtle ones. She went too far around the 4 era then rebuilt her bridge for a less witchy look after the pics of the superbowl.
She's had Lipo, skin rejuvernation, Beyonce once had a childbirth stomach. believe it or not. There is one picture that exists of it, good luck finding it. she was voted worse stomach in the biz same time Kate beckinsale was voted worst boobs. that's when they started scrubbing pics of her tummy, note she always covered up that area. Lipo and skin rejuvenation fixed that. Beyonce had her lips reduced shortly before/after going solo, not forseeing the future that she now has to get lipo. Beyonce had her inner thighs done to hop on the thigh gap bandwagon. She has veneers. She's had her eyebrows raised. etc etc.

This is late and all but after stumbling across this I do realize that it is very hard to find us, but yes some of us straight men love Bey. Not just for her beauty, although that’s a big part of it, we love her voice, her messages, and more. While we probably watch the music videos rather than listen to the pure song, yes, some of her songs resonate with us. I for one know lemonade helped me get through my similar situation. So yes, Beyoncé isn’t just for women and gay men
