I don't know .... I'm getting something different from this story. It says that jay-z helped them start out, which I assume to mean, financially.
It never said that jay OWNS the business, he MAY just hold the mortgage. Or he just gave his cousin money and walked away. Ha ha, like that would ever happen).
It's successful because Jay is NOT involved with the day to day running of the business, thank God!
This business prides itself on good food, happy workers and CLEAN environment.
So his cousin(?)has made a success of an opportunity given him and not squandered it. Wonderful!!!!!!
He oversees the business and appears proud of the/his product.
Since it runs so well, I doubt j-z has any involvement.
Remember how he allowed the screw up of the 40/40 club kitchen?
