Her intended is said to be 51 years old. we all know the knowles girls have major daddy issues. Why would solange inth e prime of her youth want to be hitched to an over the hill soon to be sucking on prunes old man.
Although I am aware of Solo's nasty reputation I do give her a little leeway becuse her childhood was a miserable one. her entire existence she has been in Beyonce's shadow, it's no wonder she self medicates with drugs. This makes me wonder if this man is good for her. Some say he is gay and she is bearding.
In her delicate state she's easy prey for the type of people who like to have unhealthy relationships in which they have all the power. Solo is very high strung and I would hate to see her taken advantage of.

What's weird is how many people are applauding the whole thing. I also think he's dl and controlling her in some kind of way. I wonder if Matthew was at the wedding.  She looks like a prettier version of Beyonce in this photo. |

What's sad is this is supposed to be Solange's special day. Her wedding day to be exact, but most of all the articles I've read about her wedding talked more about B, Jay and Blue. Everything from what they wore, their hairstyles, on to the topic of their marriage. Poor Solo. The media just won't let her be great. Not even on her wedding day.

hmmm, I'm not feeling the neckline to the jumpsuit. If there was ever a day you should not be spillin out of your clothes it's your wedding day. very trashy. it would have made a classy outfit if the neckline were higher. I suspect this kind of dressing is Beyonce's influence. Always gotta have something hanging out to be considered sexy. in that regard she missed the mark.
I also find the whole "twee" hipster movement to be baffling when found in people over a certain age, and a 28 and 51 year old couple have no business trying to act like teenage upper middle class directionless white kids. But all in all congratulations to Solange and Beyonce should get a ribbon for not trying to upstage her sister. I thought her outfit was pretty plain.
Also, would you look at Blue's adorable fro!!!! This is what I'm talking about, it's clearly combed and moisturized. She looks like a little cherub with a fro halo!

I think the timing of all of this is pretty suspect. Solange needs to be controlled, especially after the elevator incident so in comes this Alan dude. I also find it pretty funny that this family chooses N.O to have celebrations...which leads me to believe they are heavy into black magic, Voodoo/hoodoo as rumored. |

I also noticed the Knowles sister display very little affection for their men, it's all poses and PR minus any real substance. I see nothing wrong with these photos. I really like this whole concept. Not super original since a lot of people have all-white weddings (which I LOVE), but these photos are very editorial and high fashion -- live a Vogue spread. Nothing for me to criticize -- except that I DO think Bey's dress is a little off (everyone else looks and is dressed high couture, while she looks as if she's going to an after party at a dance club; I like her shoes, though), and the girl in the blue shoes on the right is standing weird, looking like that creepy little girl from The Ring. Other than that, I actually love this. Kudos to Solange for doing a wedding her way instead of taking the traditional route. And I don't care what anyone here or anywhere else says, Solange SLAYED with that jumpsuit. She has more style, creativity and artistry in her pinky toenail than Bey has in her whole body -- and I am no fan of Solange (or any Knowles for that matter). Also, I guess no one sees Janelle Monae on the left behind Bey? Her look is my fav. Love her! |
