My mini review.
Ring Off:
I see she still can't get quality song writers. Why does she always fail at having depth? "so sexy!"? Really, you're talking about heartbreak and all you can tell a woman is she's so sexy? The song is all over the place. trying to be a dance tune (biting Rihanna's island style) trying to be empowering, trying to be soulful and failing at all those things. And her voice sounds shot to hell.

Well I did hear "Ring Off". I respect the message and all, but, wrong artist! I don't know if she was going for some women's empowerment song. Like Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", that song is still powerful, and people still sing it and remaking it......People won't be singing no damn "Ring Off!" Not even a month from now. It sounds rushed, her voice is leaving her, and that voice doesn't even match the music if that makes sense.
Haven't heard 7/11...Cuz I just can't...too much in one day. And those stans are actually gonna by this re-release? Seriously? When it's free!! Got Dayum, stupidity should be a crime, folk should be locked thee hell up for it!

Didn't listen to the music and the music vid for 7/11 is up didn't watch it cause I know I would get a headache and I would have to eat almonds to cure my headache smh still taking about the same old shit huh Bey that's a damn shame.

I just watched the video. She is so very desperate for that #1 hit and trying so hard to be edgy, bubbly and relatable....which she is not. It's like she was basically trying to be like every other younger females in the industry. Bwahahaha! Can we say desperate?
I honestly believe she was going for Rihanna's popular number one song that stayed number one for 10 weeks straight.... 'we found love' at least we found love was fun and exciting, this on the other hand was cringe worthy and annoying.

I agree...but try just reading the lyrics! Just mind numbing!! True! That's how I looked at it. I started w/sound but my eardrums started boiling so I quickly hit mute. It was so sad, so struggle. Nothing worse than trying to look cool and young. You just end up looking dumb. |
