Hello DR Family, I haven't created a post in a while. I've been busy and battling illness recently.
You probably noticed it, but seems like Bey's PR machine is doing whatever it can to repair her image... Without real, effective results. This year, they put up some much lies it's becoming ridiculous. From her record sales to her marriage, everything was a scham. I wonder how they are gonna do next year to keep up with the charade.
I am not a Beyonce hater. Far from that. I'm just realistic to see through the smoke and mirrors. Only her stans believe in her lies. The general public either don't care or is disgusted by her.
You can go to any website (Washington Post, Daily Mail, Rhythm and Snitch...) and see the flood of negative comments about her and Jay. I've seen many comments calling her vain and self centered. Interestingly, people are comparing her to her enemy: Kim Kardashian. A lot of people are now saying the only difference between Mrs Carter and Mrs West are their respective career. Bey is a singer, Kim a reality TV star. You would think this difference would help Bey win the favors of the public: WRONG. It's actually worse, people don't see why she is trying so hard while she is an accomplished singer. We expect this selfish, childlish, needy behaviour from someone like Kim K, not Beyonce who has a real career. It makes her look even more desperate.
Elswhere in non english websites, the reaction is also negative. I have the chance to be able to read in other languages (French, Japanese, Portugese, Italian, a bit of German and Spanish). In Japan, they don't even bother to really talk about her. It's like "Beyonce who?" in Europe she is quite popular, but people also express some sort of disgust about her. It kinda of suprised me, because not so long ago, Beyoncé was untouchable in the European press.
PROPAGANDA has failed big time. It did not helped her in any way, in fact it dragged her down. It's very interesting, but also sad, to see how such a big star can ruin her image and branding with a serie of bad decisions. Say whatever you want about Matty Ratty, but he shaped a likeable image of her. Everything changed when he left.
So rehabbers, what are your thoughts?

I have the chance to be able to read in other languages ( French, Japanese, Portugese, Italian, a bit of German and Spanish). Do you work for the CIA?  J/k. Good to have you back! I was wondering where "Huey" was. Beyonce is desperate. People are confused because they don't get that. A lot of people are still under the impression that Bey and Jay are rich. When the truth is probably more like: They owe more than they have. Beyonce cannot afford to act like a successful artist because financially, she is not. Japanese have their own pop culture icons I didn't think they stanned for American celebs much. |

Generally when I read foreign language press or websites I'm not checking on celebs but I get the same impression that you do, Jordan - she's not nearly as liked or as 'untouchable' as she once was. I'm glad that there are people around the world see this phony broad for what she is.

They get paid to push a negative self image and retarded, dysfunctional ideals on black people. However at this point in time, I think they are about to be replaced. I'm sure the situation they've found themselves in did not happen by accident. It's been orchestrated by their puppet masters. How many black folks in Hollywood go out strong and financially set-up and all that. They always have to tear them down before they get rid of them. If they can't touch their money, they'll assasinate their character (i.e Cosby- yes, I think he did do all those things but why is it all coming out right now?) Becuase bey and jay's money is touchable they can be ruined financially, that's what's happening now, and also have their character shot to pieces. |

I think this story is another plant just because I don't believe a misogynist like Jay would sit there and get beat up by someone like Beyonce. Stevie Wonder can see Jay is the mental and possibly physical abuser in that relationship.

Reading in other languages is interesting because it gives a different perspective. Indeed Asians don't really care much about American/European celebs. They have artists who sold more records stateside than Beyowolf ever did in her career, and play in super packed stadium. When these asian stars say "sold out show" they really mean it. LOL. Same for the Middle East, they already have their own stars so they don't care about the west. I've always wondered why a so called billionaire would work so much. She is either broke and/or thirsty for fame. |

How's that re-released boxed set comming along? Lol good question.... It started off as 40 bucks... Now its on sale on Amazon. Used or new 24 dollars.... She tried to hype it up with including a calendar, old concert footage and two new songs... She should be ashamed. |

I've learnt French and a little Spanish and was just starting to learn Brazilian Portugese when life got hectic and I had to drop a lot of my hobbies. Sadly my friend who was teaching me returned to Brazil, so I'll have to go it alone. I have a Zambian friend and we've agreed she'll teach me Bemba in exchange for me teaching her French. I'm itching to learn chinese for work purposes. When I strike out on my own I want to have business ties in the East. |
