You know, I actually think she believes the hype....that she is sooo precious and loved by the public...that she did us peasants a favor by announcing her pregnancy. Really, we should just bow down and be grateful.

I know Beyonce believes the hype but I have to wonder, how do the meetings go? You know when they shoo away all the smoke and mirror, and shut off the hype machine and they all sit down and talk numbers, plain and simple. Is she there when this happens? How do they treat her whne she's steady losing them money? Do they actually tell her who has sold more than her? Do they berate her? I would just love to be a fly on that wall.

Finally someone else thinks this way. I've been saying this for a long time now...when did music become competition? Like seriously! I have NEVER seen music as a competition! Patti Aretha and Anita would NEVER say anything like this. If you notice these young kids nowadays treat music like it's a competition when it's really not! Another reason why these artist nowadays have big ego's because everyone feds in to that bullshit that it's a competition. |
