"Mike-Mike-Mike-Mike-Mike-Mike-Mike!!!"
Yes, he is playing the next Geico camel on the commercial! He was a perfect replacement!

LOL. One semi-nice thing I can say about him is that his thirst for appearing successful hasn't lead him to try to get into acting (commercial or otherwise). He needs to tell his wife that she sucks though, because I'm sure she's still going to go back to chasing an Oscar or two.

He has actually done quite a few commercials mostly for sponsoring brands...Heineken,Budweiser, Reebok, Rhapsody, HP, Duracell, Samsung. Alot of him playing himself but I'm sure we can consider that acting. What about acting in the skits/mini movies that he's always done? Do those not count?

I don't consider it acting because there's no change in character, just someone being himself in a commercial while promoting a product. There's more to acting than just reciting lines and following the blocking that was laid out. You tell me. Was he the same basic character that he always conveys in his performances and songs or was he someone else? This is acting: Playing the Maestro wasn't much of a stretch but playing that mean, close-minded Mayor definitely was. "Captain EO" is another example of acting because was not an intergalactic officer
