In Jay Z's song Moment of clarity has raps the following
Truthfully, I wanna rhyme like Common Sense/But I did five mil, I ain't been rhymin' like Common since.
Basically he's saying rapping like Common doesn't make any money and he's going to stick to coonification and egotistic lyrics just for the sake of making a buck
Last night Common won an Oscar for his song Glory with John Legend. Something JayZ will never accomplish.
Now JAy Z has debt out his wazoo and nothing prestigious or meaningful to show for it. I wonder how he feels now...
