I think it’s time for the Beehive to admit Rihanna has not just gone ahead of Beyonce; she has blazed her own trail. Listening to this track by Eminem ft. Rihanna, I don’t see how Bey can catch up. The Barbadian singer can wiz in and out of every genre of music, and people seem to like working with her. She has also slowly won over her critics, even the Beehive don’t go around criticizing her voice like they used to. And then there’s her image... Rihanna is a stunning woman! Meanwhile, Beyonce stays updating her Tumblr... Source

Not really a Rihanna fan but yes Rih has surpassed her! But the Beyhive don't want to admit it. Rihanna is a beautiful stunning woman, I like her voice better than Bey's she doesn't have to scream and yell. The only thing I don't like about her is the same problem Beyoncé has, she takes off her clothes too much. I mean she's gonna end up like Bey in that area in a few years because we've already seen her nakedness. Shit, I can type on google and go look at her titty. Nobody leaves nothing for the imagination and they sell sex. Another reason why a lot of singers cant make it or aren't really that big unless they sell sex or if they're in the pop Genre. Let me stop rambling but yes, Rih has surpassed Bey and it's time for her to sit down.

Beyonce is lost as far as direction (in dire need of matty). She wish she had Rihanna's personality. Rih can do anything crazy and people just say oh that's just the way she is. She never tries to be perfect, and ppl love that. No one wants to hear how perfect u r and how u have the perfect life blah blah blah. That's the crap bey says. She is boring and she steals musc, the reason y she can't get good music these days. Bey sounds a ill bit better than bey vocally but some ppl have that "it" factor and no matter how perfect bey is in performing, she doesn't have it. And the big difference between bey and rih is beys life is music but rih lives her life and makes music just for fun.

Beyonce should be one tired woman. Every time I see her she is doing something to try to remain relevant. She's doing the most with everything except her music. We've got everything from a bungee jump, to a calendar, rehashed old family pictures, to pictures of the back of her child's head. She's exhausting to even look at now. Lady Gaga has also been doing the most, but at least she a bit more entertaining because she switches it up all the time. Here it is Rihanna is doing far less than Bey, but steadily rising to the top. She gives us a few selfies, like she's always done, a few mag covers, new music with videos and that's basically it. TBH, Rihanna really doesn't invest a whole lot like Bey and she is winning. That is so hilarious to me. Picture Rih and Bey running in a race. Rih is just freely running it, of course with her blunt in her hand, while Bey is running in it too, but Bey is trying to run the race carrying a whole lot of shit, from 100lbs of weaves, her dancers, cameras, her 24 hr. camera man, holding Blue, dragging Jay along with the kitchen sink strapped to her back and wearing stilettos. Just too much. If Bey keeps this up, she will be known more for her desperation/her antics, than for what put her on the map...her music.

Beyonce's problem is she can't or won't grow up and that's not a good look on a black woman today. Beyonce is a mother and wife still trying to rock cut of denim shorts and messy hair. It's not a good look. It just isn't. Rihanna is surpassing Bey because she is in her appropriate zone. young and reckless. Beyonce is trying to be in rihanna's zone and she just can't. She looks a fool. She needs to stop it and grow up.
I'm happy that Rihanna, who harldy works at all, gets away with all sorts of ish that Bey wishes she could do, is outpacing Beyonce. And she's managed this as an individual. with no stage parents or girl group to prop her up. She also did it in half the time it took Beyonce to be where she is. I read once that BEy practically had a seizure when it was mentioned in a meeting that Rihanna had outsold her.

I was getting more into Rihanna a few years ago (2010-11ish) then she did all that shit involving Chris Brown over the past two or so years and I put her down b/c I DESPISE him/all of that, but Rihanna seems comfortable in her space/lane and she doesn't really come off as trying to be "above" people. Whatever she actually thinks about herself, she doesn't try to beat people over the head with any serious "I'm the greatest" shit. And she works with other artists very well/easily. There's no need-to-be-the-focal-point emanating from her features and duets. Beyoncé only seems to be willing to take a backseat to her husband when it comes to song collaborations with others. Everyone else (female) she has to "outshine." Whether she actually does outshine them is a matter of opinion, but, she really comes off like a glory hog in those situations. Rihanna seems to be able to be the center of attention or be on the periphery and she's just doing her thing in either place. I hope, one day, I can let her back into my heart, lol.

I was actually trying to get into Rihanna but I don't know, everytime I try I can't. The navy are just as crazy as the beyhive and it seems to me all she cares about is partying, smoking, and money. Especially witht he Teyana Taylor incident. Granted yeah she's young or whatever and I do believe she is ahead of Bey and she's what the people want. But her image and stuff just seems so fake just like beyonce's. That "bad girl" image. I specifically remember when she came out with Pon De Replay and she was like a sweet girl and that wasn't getting her no where at all. They had to go back to the drawing board. Until she had that "bad girl image" "umbrella" and the chris brown incident, that's what molded her career, and her going Pop. By the time she's Bey age (7 years from now) and shes still doing the same shit she was doing when she was 25 shes going to get old, just like Bey, and theirs going to be a new girl in the game even better than her. It's just a cycle.

I don’t think Rihanna has as much say over her image as far as album campaigns, but, I do think what we see in between with the clothes and hair is genuinely her. And she doesn't rub people up the wrong way as much as Beyonce, because she has never given a false perception of who she is. The fans are free to take her or leave her at will. Not scratching their heads trying to figure out what is real and what is not, so they can make a decision. Plus she’s accessible (maybe too much) but she will tell you what’s up.

Taylor and her "innocence" 9she's actually a seasoned homewrecker). Nicki and her demon barbie. It's all a gimmick, it just goes to show how messed up the music scene is right now. Can you imagine back in the day Brandy.monica, Toni and co in all sorts of crazy get ups trying to sell a record. Rihanna can be grown up when she wants to be so I don't see her totally flaming out like Bey is now.

I honestly don't think Rhi will go out like Bey..... I don't think ANY current star who is hot right now, will go out like Bey.
Bey has blazed a separate lane for herself. No passengers on her plane....that's great because her shits' about to go down flaming like you've never seen.
Ironically, the only other star I think of that has an almost equally ungraceful exit is her husband. They just don't know when to quit and they LIVE for the fame.

I actually went to school with a girl who was in the Navy, she loved her some Rihanna, but she also thought Rih was a devil worshiper. Looking at the girl, you wouldn't even be able to tell she stanned for Rih or even listened to her. I think social media has a lot to do with crazy stans. I can see Rih flaming out, but not like Bey. But trust, that girl will fade out. I mean, after you sell sex so much what else can you offer? I kinda like Rih I can get jiggy with some of her stuff and I think she is pretty. But the public will get tired of her like they're getting tired of Bey. They both don't take fucking breaks! Being late to concerts and forgetting the lyrics, not writing your own songs (this isn't really a factor but it's a wonderful plus), constantly selling sex, it will fizzle. But for now Rih is the it girl and Bey SHALL DEAL. Ha, don't let another young black beautiful girl who can actually sing, dance, has a great personality, and is a great crossover to R&B and Pop and all other genres it will be a done deal for both chicks lol.

Cannot agree with you more. In at least the past 10 + years we have all watched the true art suffer and wilt away while the bullshit rises and thrives in mainstream music. Nowadays, these artist need everything from an alter ego to performing almost naked to survive in an industry that's suppose to be about music. This is why we aren't getting many, if any, epics or classics from these artist. They just can't produce any because in the way they have tried and succeeded in dumbing down a masses, they themselves have become dumbed down too. So they need as many gimmicks as possible to help them last in the game as long as possible. They all will face a time when people won't be so mesmerized with them anymore. After you learn how the magician does his tricks, and you've seen them enough times, then the excitement and thrill is gone. But until that time these so-called artist will be here. I don't have a problem with their fans, but I do have a problem with their stans. What's worrisome and scary to me is when a stan says...Rih, Bey, Gaga, or whomever "Gives me life!" They actually mean that! It's as if they would be nothing if not for their fav. and they are willing to do and say anything to anyone, just so they could still 'get their life' from their faves. One 'hater' told a stan that "What your fav eats don't make you shit, so why do you care?" LOL! Which is true, but the stans act like it affects their bodies, too.

Sales wise, no doubt Rihanna has surpassed Beyonce. 25 songs in the top 10 since she started in 2005, including 12 #1 hits; that's quite a milestone. However she is as fake as Beyonce. A product. Her bad girl image is just a cover up to her lack of substance and she is a crappy performer. She won't last either... Unless she comes up with REAL music, which I doubt. To make real music you need a deep soul, and Rihanna doesn't have one now. Everything she does or say is superficial. I put her and Bey in the same league. None of them are legends or icons to me. They both need to have a seat. The difference between RiRi and Bey is, RiRi can smell what's hot, what's fresh. She does have a good ear for hit songs. And Beyonce does not.

I would like to know why she's so intimidated by Rihanna. I mean we are watching someone who claims to be a queen copying somebody who has been in the industry for only 7-8 years. I just wonder is jay and Rihanna still doing it? She's trying to dress like her, make music like her. Look at the clothes she's selling on her website, their copies of Rihanna past outfits and future ones.

So true, but the only thing that makes our favorite idiot (Beyonce) stand out is that unlike other stars who know how to gracefully give up and bow out, this fruitcake is still fighting and competing to stay "hot" when its impossible. I honestly see Rhi accepting her time when its up, and just leaving it alone.
