Last year in October, Beyonce lost her tour photographer, Yossra El-Essawy to stage 4 oesophogal cancer. Only a few months later one of her backup singers has begun Chemo therapy for the same kind of cancer. This kind of cancer is extremely rare and affects men more than women. This news has raised a few eyebrows, inculding mine. I come from a culture that is steeped in witch craft. I have seen things I would be hard pressed to explain, so certain things are not outside the realm of possibility to me.
Now here are some extreme conspiracies:
1. I've always wondered how Beyonce got sofar without a sacrifice. Maybe she does several "smaller" sacrifices to keep herself on top. instead of a huge one (i.e family) she makes several smaller ones with people who are not so close to her. Or her enemies (Kathy White).
2.Hold on to your tinfoil hats.
I've heard this talked about all my life but only ever actually seen it happen once. I would call it a coincidence if the circumstances around it were not so fishy. I don't know what to call it in English, but basically, it's like transferring your fate to someone else. Like in that Final Destination movie where they kill a person to take their years of life and avoid dying themselves.
Old folks talk about it all the time, when someone who was supposed to be on a death bed somehow recovers and at the same time someone who was supposed to be a model of health suddenly dies seemingly for no reason. And those two people happen to have a connection. The one instance that actually happened regarding people I actually know and like I said, can't explain with logic, is this:
There were two surgeons, both orthopaedic specialists and working out of the same hospital. Of course they were rivals. One was suspected of being a hack, not truly qualified and accused of botching many operations. The other was newer on the scene and had an excellent record so far. He was younger and better trained. The old hack, had big "contracts" with medical aids so was the go to Dr for those types of surgeries but at the time people were beginning to complain about him a lot and Dr 2 was being demanded as an alternative to Dr Hack.
Round about that time Dr Hack was diagnosed with Late Stage Cancer. It was said he would probably not survive. So he left work to tend to his health, try chemo etc etc. In that time Dr2's patient list obviously grew. Just when people were talking about "this is the end for Dr Hack" - Dr2 died. No accident, no identifiable sickness, just died. This was a young man no older than 40, I guess. No explanation could be given. no underlying heart problem or anything like that. He just died.
Not long after his death Dr Hack was back at work. BACK AT WORK. Not slowly recovering and convalescing. BACK AT WORK.
Everybody was talking about it in the same tone. this was some evil type BS. The medical community was shocked because they had all the details and it was just unblievable to them how Dr Hack recovered practically overnight and Dr 2 died in the same time frame. These events had medical professionals running to the church I tell you.
So when two people in one group get the same kind of very rare illness in such a short time frame, I'm going to have to side eye, because I have seen things.
Maybe it's Beyonce who's supposed to have the illness and she keeps passing it on to others.
But back to logical thinking: Singers work their throats more than the average person, and if they don't take good care of it (smoking & drinking) there is more potential for things to go wrong. Because the pool of people in this situation are all of the same profession (voice work) it might be possible to find a higher than average incidence of this rare illness amongst them.
-There ya go, brought you back from the rabbit hole.
P.S Hold on, Yosra was a photographer not a singer.....
But I do hope this young lady pulls through.
